Fan Regeneration | The 15th Face | Doctor Who Fan Film 

that outro, though WOAH- it should be the official one! in fact, it looks BETTER than the official intros. that’s actually so impressive the effects, camera, the music, and everything is so good too!

My take on the regeneration effect would be it starting with the veins in the head bulging, followed by an orange glow coming from within. this effect would spread throughout all the veins, and then the pupils would glow, and all of the skin would start to show internal glowing to like when you shine a flashlight through your hand. This effect would grow more and more intense, obscuring the actor's face, until the mere glow becomes tiny sparks of orange electricity followed by orange-yellow lightning with a hint of purple-blue shooting out of the hands and head like a Tesla Coil. The lightning would reflect, and spark off surfaces as the camera zooms in through the energy on the actor's face. Their new hair would grow in, and their old hair would fall out and burn away. The same thing would happen to their teeth as they yell in pain. Their face will slowly morph into the new Doctor's face, and the lightning would stop as the glowing slowly subsides to reveal the actor's face.

I clicked on the thumbnail expecting it to be a poorly made video BUT I actually enjoyed it! You did a brilliant job with! The animation was very convincing. The fire animation in the TARDIS, ok it didnt look very real but for the resources you had with you still made look as John Simms master said "spectacular". That Dalek looked awesome aswell. Really good job!

Can I ask how you did the regeneration? From what I saw, it looked like the fade from Joe to Karl was all 1 shot of Karl. I think you added Joe's face over the top and faded it out instead of faded Karl's face in as the body doesn't seem to change with the face. Would I be right in any way with this?
