I love football. I love college, NFL, USFL, and XFL. That being said, BattleHawks, slow your roll. I was a ball boy for the Bandits in the USFL in 1984. The Bandits led the USFL in average attendance every season but the first averaging more than 45,000. The ACTUAL spring football record was set in the '85 season when Jacksonville played at Tampa. The attendance was 58,928. Y'all sold out every ticket but you're gonna have to open up the upper decks and fill em to beat the Bandits' record. I hope y'all can do it. Cheers.
They also didn't make all 66K+ tickets available. There are people that couldn't purchase tickets because the tickets that were available had sold out.
@@theequalizer9614 I hope they sell out the stadium. Not living near an XFL my favorite teams are the BattleHawks & the Roughnecks. I collect mini helmets. I want to add the Roughnecks to my collection. Awesome design, imo. Cheers.
@@TheMichaelBeck They won't sell out the stadium. I'm going to one of their games soon and you don't even have the option to buy anything past the second level up (only the two areas closest to the field are available). HOWEVER, those are selling out for every Battlehawks home game.
The STL fans were always there for the Rams through thick and thin (mostly thin). The NFL simply wanted a team in LA at all costs, and found the most easily escapable lease situation in STL. Nothing about the move had anything to do with fan support.
There was never an attendance problem until SK took over the team and the rumors which came to fruition started about the team looking to head out of town.
@@muzikdude1188 that is correct. St. Louis is the most underrated football city in America and sadly many people don't know or understand what actually took place.
