So the only thing that has changed is the price, significantly. To buy the three rip offs together is almost the same as buying all 3 mp52 seekers!! Only an idiot would think that was reasonable or fair.

I also bought this reissue, and one thing I really do not like are the chrome rings that are around the shoulders, to which his wings are connected. He looks like a little girl wearing costume fairy wings for kids.

Really sucks that FT didn’t improve the wing clips. The price increase should’ve been sufficient to cover a minor redesign.

i picked up a set and i'm thinking about selling them on i don't think they are that much better than the badcubes now i've had them in hand for myself in fact i gotta say i do really prefer the badcube and am thinking about getting that collectors set, such a shame they didn't 2.0 these, a little things like the faces look kinda old and off to me the kibble on bombshell and shrapnel really are thing i would have liked to have seen maybe get a bit of love maybe some of the ugly thigh rotations to, for sure i think fanstoys new price point is really making me be super critical now, where as before you'd let stuff slide because it was good value when say compared to takara

Part of the reason FT's are getting expensive has to do with their material choices. FT loves using metal in their products...and metals in China have shot up over the last couple years. At one point they were facing 65% inflation on steel prices. These guys were just re-issues...I really wasn't expecting any changes. If they were a lettered variant then I'd expect a bit more. I'm not absolutely thrilled about the pricing, but I'm glad there's a re-issue so I have a chance to grab them and not pay 2-3 times as much on the secondary market.

I also think that this figure looks great, and I am happy to finally own it. That being said, Forager has been a slight disappointment because I thought it would be at least somewhat fun to transform. My problem is not the wings though; as long as one handles them as you (and the instructions) showed, there should be no risk of breakage. My problem is with insides that are attached with brittle sliders but are so tightly stuck that they require very much force to be pulled out (at least when transforming into an insect). It is also easy to accidentally bend the slider parts sideways with too much force when turning them around and thus, break them. So, yes, you have to be careful when transforming Forager, and that takes most of the fun out of it.
