there’s no shot… I tried listening to it and almost finished but realized I could just be listening to Scaring the Hoes instead. I imagine Fantano went through a similar thought process
i listened to scaring the hoes about 40 times and thought it was album of the year doesn't impact the enjoyability of vultures tho, it's two completely different albums@@user-fs1lc2cj5s
Same dude that thought Rich Men North of Richmond was about THE CIVIL WAR and doubled down when his audience pointed out that take is literally insane.
Review by a totally not schizophrenic Ye fan who is in no way d-riding the goat… Most people don’t realize Vultures is a concept album. Track 4 ..”Once again the clouds are gatherin to release what they held in” Clouds are metaphor for dark thoughts . Rain is a metaphor for the manifestation of those dark thoughts troubles and pain. Track 5- Ty sings- heart was broken , I am frozen. Ye prays for a beautifulbigtittybuttnakedwoman to fall out the sky not rain.. but that is just his sex addiction talking. Kanye is a self admitted sex addict and he has said before sex addiction comes from trying to cover up pain ( all addictions are) Track 6- you look like a piece of Hallelujah. (He manifested the woman to fall out the sky) Tracks 6-8. And 10-12 Are Ye living a cold loveless life of just sex and transactional relationships with women lyrically. He’s in Yeezus mode which is why he includes the Mike Tyson interlude about how Ye has mental issues (I’m a God) ends track 6 Track 12 - (i’m the new Jesus bish) I’m a God famous track from Yeezus an album about Ye being a sex addict similar to tracks 6-12 on Vultures. In the middle of the those tracks is track 9 Burn - her love is dangerous. Ye- who’s not entertained by my pain who ain’t cash a check off my name. I burned 8 billion to take off my chains. Chains in hip hop are called- ICE What happens when the clouds release rain and the environment is cold? It turns to ICE. Track 13 after Carnival is Beg Forgiveness . Ye realizes he’s gone too far with the lifestyle he’s been in track 6-12 in Yeezus mode- What if I wake and i can’t feel my heartbeat..Ye’s verse says “don’t let your moment pass you by” , “100% covered in ICE” - Back to me Ty sings this is more than just a moment.. I am FROZEN Track 14- Good don’t die - Ye sings got my heart on ICE don’t die. Back to how this is set up Track 2. Ye raps - slow down you on your way to an overdose- it’s about his addiction - caused by pain it’s about the divorce with Kim- seeing her with other men. Ever since I lost my mom you were like my foster mom- “You already know I’m impulsive and another baby is my end goal” - . If you’re impulsive and want to make babies that means sex addiction.. uncontrolled sex not for love. Track 3 - Ye sings “Roxanne” in a desperate voice yearning for love.. but for her it’s just a job ain’t that a shame- she’s just here to get paid. And Ye is just shooting Billy blanks and can’t get any one pregnant for his end goal of a baby therefore he’s just making money to provide material things for the woman he’s with and get laid- feed his sex addiction. Also note the silly voice he raps with is the same voice he used in the Alex Jones interview (Net and Yahoo) his last interview before getting “cancelled” Track 4 Talking features North for a reason. There’s 2 songs made about North- Violent Crimes - a song about how Ye imagines her growing up and being surrounded by savages and monsters who use her for sex - the way Ye used to treat women . Also Only One- a song about Ye’s mom singing to him and North- “Hello Mari , how ya doin? I think the storm ran out of rain the clouds are movin” Track 5-Yeezy how ya doin huh? Ty sings - Once again the cloud the clouds are gathering to release what they held in - and his verse same theme as Violent Crimes , Ty afraid his daughter grows up living the lifestyle he used to live. Now the bookends The Album Cover Track 1 STARS Track 13 Problematic Track 14 KING The album is actually using Ye’s struggles with sex addiction as a metaphor for the being cancelled , the culture , the industry , and comparing himself to problematic figures in the industry ( Stars) cancelled for dehumanizing acts towards women . R Kelly, Bill Cosby, P Diddy, Chris Brown, Columbine shooters were incels who were mad they couldn’t get girls.. Ye’s other addiction or impulse control problem is his inability to bite his tongue. Which is the cause of his cancellation and he has said that and his *orn addiction led to his divorce.. Carnival- they served us the *orn since the day we was born. Ye for a long time has been connecting the dots that the industry uses the black entertainers like how the black entertainers who live a problematic lifestyle use women. It’s a transactional relationship with no love . The industry makes money of the lyrics of rappers who rap about killing each other , doing drugs , drinking and treating women like objects. It leads to fatherless homes, single mothers who can’t provide for their kids and be around them all the time , so then the kids in the hood often are looking for a sense of family and male role models through gangs and then they end up in Jail. Or seeing the rappers who make bad choices as examples because they are perceived as cool because they make money and get all the women. It all revolves around money- women are naturally attracted to men with money because it provides for the children, but the men who have the money use their money for power over women often are not there for the children and are just using them for sex because of their own pain.. The industry above all who capitalize off of the artist usually are generational wealth , they have families , and they are just using the system making money off of black peoples pain because they are greedy. So who are the VULTURES- the men using the women for sex? The women using the rappers for money? The rappers who rap about gang violence and objectifying women because it makes them money? Or is it the system of greed? That’s why Ye ripped up the contracts and burned 8 billion by calling out the system and the fact he’s still King shows he outsmarted the system by using it to be #1 again. Vultures 1 is just step one of 3 . I just F’d the world raw she needs a morning after.PROBLEMATIC
bruh the hell is this 😭guarantee ye and ty themsevles didn't put more than 5 lines of thought into this album and here you are writing essays to defend
@@highkey4316 so you think it’s a coincidence all of the lines that are on theme Like Track 1 I hope he’s big and bright and strong Track 2 Another baby is my end goal Track 3 Shooting Billy Blanks Track 11 Got pregnant in the 3 some whose baby is it? Track 15 I just F’d the world raw it needs a morning after. Also the Ice metaphor Track 5 I am Frozen Track 13 100% covered in Ice Track 14 Got my heart on Ice don’t die I mean at the very least i would think you’d be smart enough to see correlation? You don’t have to even believe it’s intentional but what I said makes sense as a psychoanalysis. For you not to be able to connect the dots on how any of this could correlates is baffling ..given Kanye was talking about the corruption in the industry, and was very anti porn and claimed his addiction ended his marriage in 2022 as well as talking about how anti abortion he was, his belief that the system was systematically trying to kill black babies etc But leave it up to someone who doesn’t know anything to tell you you’re the one reaching 😂
huh, I am not obsessed, am just noting my observations, even if it was the best album he ever heard, he'd say its trash, cuz of his personal bias@@piti-sukkah
Can't wait for fantano's review, surely will be the least biased review of all time! I wonder what he's saying about kanye's wife on twitter😀 surely nothing mysognistic i bet 😄😁
9!!!! Vultures is a great watch please don’t take his opinion as Canon ! Listen for yourselves and don’t fall victim to streamers personal vendettas against good artist !
@@lohimocho627 if you think about it long and hard there are so many questionable lyrics on the album so the only real thing going for the album is a couple songs and production
@@grandmaster5183 i’ve been a huge ye fan and i only found out ab fantano last year thru los pollos man. be a ye dick rider all u want but stop with the delusions 🫣
Mid album, some cool highs and some shit lows but honestly it was just mediocre, first time I’ve ever been bored listening to Kanye (which is fucking wild)
I thought the album was very consistent. Had some great highlights some skips here and there but overall a really great experience. Can’t wait to listen to it for the first time. I’m not gonna listen to it.
We rate everything based on how we personally perceive and feel about the art. Music criticism, or any sort of analysis of media, is subjective for a reason. I personally think the album musically and soundwise sucks donkey balls but it has nothing to do with how i feel about ye, but the music itself. Just because a review is negative doesn't mean anything
@@felixorozco4055Bro Fantano gave MBDTF a 6 and you want people to take his reviews seriously? It's his opinion but he constantly puts down the artist he dislikes and hold a grudge like Chris Brown.
@@jarethcruz2627 i never said i wanted him sepecifically to be taken seriously, just stated that we rate everything based on our perspectives. Fantano's take isn't less or more valuable than your or mine. Like what you like or dislike what you like. Art creates discussion, and it's hella fun to see how it impacts people different ways or see how they interpet it. I personally think Vultures is terrible, but seeing people love it is something cool, even if i disagree.
@@jarethcruz2627a 6/10 is above average, stop crying. I think Graduation is a 6/10 and I enjoy and listen to it quite a lot, I just don’t think it’s even close to being one of the best Hip Hop Albums.
I wouldn’t say this album is good, but what I will say, is that it’s 100% Kanye’s best work in a while. It at least sounds well mixed. Feels more finished than Donda if you ask me
IMO it wasn’t bad but it wasn’t good either, had its highlights for sure but Kanye messed up like half of the tracks imo. Production, features, and Ty were great though.
Anthony fantano considers cardi b, Megan the stallion and sexy red good artists If you ever watched his reviews unironically for the past >3 years you are eligible to compete in single digit iq Olympics😢

@@alexacerenza225 hmm idk if you read it all but I think you believe he didn’t intend it because you have a misconception of who Kanye is.. all of his albums are conceptual.. I can explain but obviously that’s a books worth of material no one will read.. Crazy theory- Kanye is a performance artist and part of what we see with him in the public , social media etc is in some ways a performance. In 2018 before Kanye wore the MAGA hat and said slavery sounded like a choice he started tweeting alot about performance artist being an inspiration- Marina Abramovic , Joseph Beuys , Andy Warhol , Andy Kauffman etc Kauffman known for staying in character even off camera.. In 2021 after Donda Kanye did an interview for a performance art magazine with an artist named Tino Seghal - you can google it. In the interview Kanye says he’s planning a performance piece called “The Funeral rehearsal of Kanye West” Ye said (paraphrasing) I can never let people love me for too long , I always have to do something controversial to turn people against me because it somehow inspires him as an artist and makes him feel like an individual and free. In the interview he also says he plans on being homeless in a year. This was 2021 his net worth 8 billion and a year was 2022 post Alex Jones interview.. Right before Kanye tweeted “deathcon3” in 2022 and started the antisemitism fiasco he started posting on instagram calling out all of the people he believed were corrupt and colluded against him . He then called himself the greatest performance artist in the world.. By performance artist I don’t think it necessarily means he’s Daniel Day Lewis method acting but Kanye has called interviews his “stage” He deletes his instagram a lot but you can find the posts on Reddit if you look up Kanye performance art.. most people believe he’s too dumb to be doing performance art with a larger message but that’s because they don’t understand him.
I think Fantano is going crazy. It's a great album but if he doesn't like Kanye as a person then he shouldn't give this album any time of day. I find it difficult to understand how he keeps feeding Kanye numbers instead of making a Free Palestine youtube video. Looks like he cares about clout after all. He's just here to get paid
