honestly getting the food from the dumpsters is probably cleaner and better for you then eating at a restaurant. It seems like every time we go out to eat I get sick to my stomach. much love to you and thanks for sharing

Love your videos as always. You really got a lot . Thanks for sharing and giving me the idea almost a year ago to dive. I’ve raided $799 in one haul just meat. Bought a freezer the next day and filled it to the top. Now we have 7 freezers full and we help out needy hungry families all the time. We love you!!!!

traci frazier great idea . At the end of the day those multinationals run the food business and if we take the profit from them by not buying and getting the food they dispose of it won't even harm them as they are so rich.

Many Aldi's stores have started getting pissy lately toward dumpster divers, especially toward folks making videos of their finds. I think corporate has become aware and doesn't like divers promoting diving. Best to keep the camera pointed in toward the dumpster so nobody can identify your exact store location .

I agree strongly and diffently they get mad when diver rip the bag then when trash get everywhere on the ground they they have to pick it up or get fine this Is why if i were you i wouldnt tell my location or announce you giving it away or selling it.if you open a bag just tied it back not leave trash on they ground just maybe they wouldn't get mad 💁‍♀️

Greetings from the UK, it is Sunday morning 02:18 2nd June. Crazy that I'm still awake. I can't believe that all that food was set to go to land-fill. So wasteful. Bananas and apples are cheap. Pears are pretty cheap. Kiwi fruit is cheap. Carrots are veggies, but they are cheap. Fruit and vegetables are not expensive. Meat is expensive!!!!!!!!!

The opened bag of rice can be used to make heating pad. You fill a tube sock 3/4 of the way with rice, sew it up and microwave for 3 minutes and instant heating pad or make a small pillow shape of flannel and fill with rice

To the naysayers....how do they know their isn’t rats at their neighborhood grocer or McDonalds? They have had cases where rodents had peed on soda can tops in a warehouse and then sold. That and you and your family look healthy and happy.

My Mom lived on a farm and said with eggs, all you have to do is crack them, they will let u know right away if they aren’t good. Eggs last much longer than due dates.

Amy, why are you so worried? The Supreme Court of the United States has said that once it is in the trash it is public. Unless, there are "NO TRESPASSING " signs, the dumpster is locked or it has a sign on it. It seems like Aldi's doesn't have those.

Dogwoods are so beautiful and you got five of them! They do not grow fast though. Maybe they will gorgeous for the twins graduation. My lone dogwood is over 60 years old. They have such a graceful branching habit. Its my second favorite tree after a very tall, straight oak.

I love how happy you are dumpster diving. He enjoys it to but just being a man. LOL I wish I lived close to you I have a van but nobody to help me. I am disabled & I would climb in if I knew for sure I could get out of it. I have found some really good stuff. I watch a couple out in CA StevenStephResellKillers they are hilarious. They fix a lot of the baby strollers etc & resell them but they donate a huge amount of stuff also. But I am glad I found you I am loving watching you

You can do other things besides dumpster diving. You do not need to live near this couple. If you have a headset, you can work as a salesperson or telemarketer from home.

People balk at wrapped, clearly clean dumpster food kept cold by the winter temps but have no idea how massively filthy and verminous MANY restaurants are or how poorly they store food. . Filthy restaurant kitchen usually have roaches and rodents, store food so improperly there is cross contamination between raw and cooked meats, and have mold growing in fridges due to poor cleaning and wrong temperatures. Also see: workers who take a shit or blow their noses and don't wash their hands. The most common way to get food poisoning is to eat restaurant or takeaway food prepared in dirty kitchens by ignorant people. Not taking clean food from a dumpster in winter and cooking it youself in a hygienic way.

If you live in N.J. I understand that it is expensive to live there. It is a wonder more people don't do what you folks do. So much stuff is thrown away that could still be used or reused. I have extended family who live there and I didn't realize how expensive it was until they told me the prices of some things there. The best to you and your family in doing what you do. How many freezes do you have? Can't believe, people get funny about you giving your pets fresh meat..that you get from the dumpster. I'm not vegetarian, but I wouldn't want to give it to anyone or eat it myself. But it's perfectly safe for the pets. So why not give them fresh food. My cat is 20, has scoliosis and is asthmatic. She lots of fresh meat which has helped keep her healthy and live this long. So why wouldn't you want to give it to them..their part of the family 🐈🐈🐈🐈🐕🐕🐩🐩🐇🐇🐇🐁🐁🐁🐀🐀🐢🐢🐢🐎🐎🐎🐄🐄🐄🦄🦄🦄

Who ever talked of rats must be from NYC!! So MANY people missed the Brain Train.... They don't care about landfills and the ocean. That is all perfectly good food! LOL the getaway vehicle. I'm so excited for you two that you got all the free food. You're very aware about what you take and how it needs to be taken care off so two big thumbs up for you as you take hygiëne so seriously. People just should think before they Judge IMHO. And how about in the early days? How was food stored then? Now it's way way better and cool to the touch and no floating eggs hey it's fine, it's ok!!
