Far Cry is one of my favorite Franchises. Far Cry 5 is definitely in my top 3 FC games. I think they should do Far Cry 6 set in Mexico around the drug cartel with deserts and snakes and shit.

The setting of the game was like getting your imagination of being that invincible tough cool soldier mixed with that cool realistic feel of the countryside and your home. I felt like a child again playing this game but at the same time I had so much fun with the characters and the story it was a perfect game in my opinion

It's crazy to think Far Cry 4 came out 4 years ago

The gold edition with the season pass and everything included is one of the best overall experiences/values in gaming. Easily my favorite game in the bunch, and start-to-finish, SIGNIFICANTLY more solid than all other entries. Still enjoying getting into it every once and a while and it most definitely holds up.

Marathoned it 17 hours solo during this current weekend event, game is GORGEOUS, OPTIMIZED, and FUN! Never played far cry games so this was a beautiful surprise. Really felt like i took out of town weekend trip.

I got the game yesterday, beat it today. It’s my first time playing a Far Cry game and I absolutely loved it. I’m the kind if person who will painstakingly plow through a games story before doing anything else and I’ve gotta say I looooved the story. (I did play Blood Dragon but I don’t count that)

This was my first Far Cry game and I love it. The gun play is awesome, the stealth is great, the story (saves for the endings) really got me invested, and pissed off, and the exploration was a treat. That being said, he endings are terrible and none are satisfactory, the decisions some of the characters make boggle my mind, and while having a silent protagonist was neat, them having a voice would’ve solved so many problems. Like warning Eli what Jacob is doing to us, or telling Kim that leaving HC and getting help is a sane idea. Or telling Whitehorse that letting Burke keep his gun is a dumb idea. Overall, 8/10

In my opinion far cry 3 was the best game in the series but far cry 4 was very underrated and is still one of my favorite games.

I think it's a great game (slightly overwhelming at first) but biggest issue with the game is save points are too far from each other. Some missions are long and chaotic so having to start over from the beginning really sucks. The second complaint is vehicle physics. It's hard to explain unless you've played it.

Still rocking a gtx970, and im surprised how good it looks and how smooth it is. Huge letdown that its not a completely redesigned game - it needs some new life injected into it - but Good old far cry mechanics are always fun.

I think this was my favorite Far Cry game of all time including 3 and Blood Dragon. It's really refined and fresh.

Do yourself a favor and play on HARD. Play many side quests to gain perks. Do not rush. This is the farcry i always wanted. The last one i played was farcry 3. But this is something TOO GOOD that i have to say... this is the best of the best. If you are looking for a shooter that suits your ninja + rambo + mad play style this is the game for you. A love letter for the FPS gamer.

They did a great job at improving the overall gameplay once more. The takedowns for example feel extremely powerful and for someone that plays stealthy and uses them all the time it's really refreshing. The world almost never feels empty (the north region does because it"s filled with mountains and lakes which get boring fast) and this time it's been packed with more structures and outposts than in the last Far Crys. The game looks really beautiful and is nice to look at. The members of the Seed family are well written and very charismatic, Ubisoft just knows how to create great villains. But most importantly (I never thought I'd say that to a Far Cry game) the music is absolutely amazing. The main theme is beautiful, the propaganda songs build the atmosphere very well, the list of rock music they chose for the radio is great and the Arcade music gets you instantly pumped for the multiplayer. All in all as a big Far Cry fan I'm having a ball playing this game and I can recommend it to everyone who likes good open world shooters. (Did I seriously forget to mention fishing? It's really fun but sadly repetitive)

Me: Far Cry 5: Before You Crack

Controls are great on pc, it really flows. I disagree re visuals, it all looks much the same to me as the previous iterations but then I'm not American. I despise the kidnapping events. I'm a 67 year old female gamer, have played a lot of the big titles, but this is so full on I'm sometimes stuck and repeating frenzied sections, and capture really spoils the immersion, plus the endless yacking on. Just leave me alone to explore without pushing me on into stuff I didn't ask for.

Personally FC5 is my favourite game ever, I have played it through 3 times solo and i'm on my second co-op play-through now. The landscape and the weapons is just great, this time around i'm avoiding sniper rifles and doing everything with arrows and silenced pistols and SMG's which is so rewarding, can't recommend this game enough.

I personally love the core gameplay of all the far cry games 4 and up, so to experience that gameplay with different settings and atmospheres is a big plus

This is my first Far Cry game and I love it so far. I'd kill for scope with some actual zoom, and I have no idea why planes and helicopters top out at 30 MPH in a dive, or why every truck's speedometer shows double the actual speed... But everything else is pretty great.

I like the setting because I'm from Alberta, right north of Montana. Looks like Alberta. I'm only 2 hours in, and the thing about trying to get a mission from an NPC but getting attacked has already happened to me lol.

Been playing the game for two days now and I've been absolutely loving it. I finished one of the islands but I don't remember the name of the guy, it's the bottom one with the female character to rescue. I very much agree with the villain screen time, all the cutscenes mixed with the beautiful graphics really immerse me in the game.

Only just started this game today but I’m having some great fun with it already. I also agree that the new exploration is a welcomed change. Nothing better than silencing enemies with a bow in tall grass. Great video!

Been playing 2 days on xbox one. Love the location, the premise but it feels abit all over the place,mission wise.

Is customisation like in previous far cry's or can you put attachments on ak this time? I like how they changed the sights. FC3 & 4 didn't had very accurate sights. M16 was hell to shoot at longer ranges.

It took a while like literally a month for me to get to like Far Cry 5. I was playing HZD before this so I was still hooked with that gameplay. Luckily I really tried hard liking the game and it worked! I am hooked now, I may play this game for months to come. Yeap I am a slow player. I enjoy things slowly.

I enjoy the game quite much. It's definitely a game for me to just put in and chill out to. Whether it's finding Prepper Stashes, Liberating Outposts or completing side missions, there's always plenty to do after you beat the main game. Personally I enjoy the community challenges that they put in the game to unlock additional content. Hopping into Far Cry Arcade to do Outpost gametypes is fun to be had. Fishing is a bit fun, but I preferred playing Poker in Far Cry 3 more. There's certainly more weapon customization than in the previous games which is an added bonus and all of them have their unique feel to them.

In the last mission for John, when I was trying to chase him down for the key, he got killed by a wolverine before I could get to him

I know people hated this game, but honestly it's one of my favourite games ever. In 4k it blows my mind and playing on infamous mode it gives a good challenge. The map is beautiful and massive that changes by region. The hunting and fishing is a good past time and the best way to make money. The guns work well and really make me think about what I want equipped with all the variety between an AR or a shovel canon. Would definitely recommend, especially with the reduced price And you can have a grizzly bear named Cheeseburger run around with you, so...

I personally loved the way joseph reacted after each of his siblings deaths. Each one affected him more and more and I enjoyed the way they acted.

The reason this game is my favorite is how deep the game gos with the story and the guns and graphics are great

Far Cry 5 - Before You Torrent

Its an Amazing game and i really love it, But the Only Thing i hateabout this game is, that there is enemies EVERYWHERE just as you explained, for an example, i went out fishing and a helicopter + 2 boats with sentries on Them showed up. Also there is som really Fun But weird glitches in the game that needs to be fixed For example, When your teammate revives you sometimes it happens that you get revived But you still lay on the Ground and you cant do anything, so i have to restart my game to fix it. Also When you play a mission where you have to Take over a little farm or market theres not that many enemies, well there is some and they are tough to Take out and all, But If you hit the Road 5 x the people Will show, i Think the game definantly needs some fixes and some feedback that the devs Can work on

Seems incredibly well optimised. My 4 year old rig (asus mobo, gtx 780, liquid cooled i7 4820k, 16gb RAM, dual SSD) which certainly wasnt a slouch new but is beginning to creak in the joints smashes locked in 60fps on full ultra without skipping a beat

farcry 4 was good, but I think this one is a step above, better then far cry 4.

i just finished it today and only thing annoying was main missions starting automatically, like you are doing some side mission in between there main mission start after you get dizzy...

I’m only just getting back into gaming and really looking forward to playing this. FC3 was one of my favourites, but I found 4 really boring. Hopefully this is a as return to form... tbh as long as I can snipe people with hunting bows and go swimming I’ll be happy.

I love this channel and watch a lot of reviews but I always find my self reading the comments to see how the gamers talk about the games more than the reviewer I’m not saying he isn’t a gamer but I enjoy reading the comments from everyone else

3:49 - you talk about random cultists popping up - somewhere in the beginning of the game you’re told that they’re watching you from above (probably air support) and that they’ll get dispatched to your position if you’re on an open road or caught slipping.

If it’s your first Far Cry game (as it was for me), I would recommend buying it as soon as you can. I understand how veteran players may get bored if it’s the same concept in every game, but overall, it’s a really good game. There is a good amount of bugs in glitches you’ll see, but a lot of the game is really realistic. Graphics are amazing, they really did well with the vehicles in first person, and the side missions and activities keep the game interesting, so it’s not a grind the entire time.

The big difference from fc4 and 3 is the health system. I don't know, in fc5 i think death is inevitable during chaotic missions. Since we can't regenerate health by healing nor creating medicine with herbs. Sometimes, stealth is the only choice. Meanwhile in previous games, i enjoyed attacking enemies without stealth so much.

Got food cooking for later, housework done, it's Sunday afternoon with not much else to do. Thinking of going out now to buy this pre-owned... Seems like a good plan.

Farcry 5 is easily my favourite, I love the open world you get to explore, it’s been designed so beautifully, with detail and secrets everywhere… you know, secrets that you have to find naturally, not climbing a radio tower to get it marked on your minimap. The story surprised me, I actually liked the premise, the gun play is fine… love stealth (although I still wish we had the option to have bladed weapons) but only blunt weapons was an interesting change. I experienced no bugs at launch, very polished with some Ubisoft jank… This game is honestly incredible and I always see myself coming back to it when I run out of other games to play.

Tbh I love this Farcry. Just seemed like too many people were offended that this game wasn’t offensive in any fashion & called Ubisoft “scared” like wtf when I played Punisher as a kid on ps2, it wasn’t for the refreshing back story, it was because I could shove bad guys into caskets and smash their heads with windows. That’s what this game is about. Having a good time, no need for expectations on obtaining some “message”

first Far Cry purchase. Seems fun so far. Bought it for the unique story line and the small town, outdoorsy feel of the design. Character dialogue is pretty funny. Look forward to playing the rest of the levels.

It's 10/10 in my book, and the plot and characters are so enthralling. Great for playthroughs and wanting to experience it all over again. And best balance on infamous/ best gunplay, awesome feel. Literally keep it installed for excuses to play it again. Oh, and the PEG radio... never felt like collecting the records cuz it was too great.

I've played every Far Cry, and Primal is by far my favorite. 3 was great, but Primal's minimalist approach really made it more rewarding.

im nearly finished with this game, its amazing i love it, prob one of my top 10 fave games, bought the father edition as well. however its not perfect, i wish there was more story and depth to it and as it was said maybe more real life political statement to be more real and edgy, the story feels a bit like a poor mans GTA 5. however the world and setting is amazing and think thats the real draw here. if ubisoft made the environment/world and rockstar made the story i think that this would be a 10/10
