Once I got lucky and was near a plane when they started trying to shoot me with tranquilizers. Flew to the opposite side of the map to another county and landed in an isolated spot in the forest. I get out and get shot with a tranquilizer bullet.

I got kidnapped while flying a plane, I was in the cockpit and I just magically dozed off, flying straight towards the ground (I was flying just above the treetops), and the cult somehow managed to get me in the 5 seconds before I smashed into their trucks

Actually that would be great. Like, play as a tourist in NK who gets in trouble with the regime and accidentely kickstarts a revolution. Choosing a setting would be tough tho. NK is very centralized so the game would have to be in pyongyang, where there is no jungles, trees or whatever.

You mean a Far Cry set in Asia that deals with a totalitarian regime and it's dictator? Hmm it's almost as if Far Cry 4 did that with a fictive country and regime already. Why would they do something so similar again? Not to mention that Ubisoft would never do anything so flammable as to make a game where you get rid of Kim Jong.

Asia is a big place, and FC4 was very mountanous and whatnot, mabye the next step is a map with half of it being like a city scape like Pyongyang and the other half being wilderness, and make it kinda like wolfenstein where you have to undermine an entire regime instead of just one dude at the top. Mabye as complex as ghost recon wildlands in a sense that it could have heaps of bosses and sub bosses etc.

Will never happen. As i said the plot to overthrow a totalitarian government would be too close to FC4 to be appealing to most people and yea Ubisoft would never make a game where the plot is to go against a real regime, in a real country, in the real world, that's the whole point why FC4 had a fictional country and regime.

As someone who has only played 3, 5 and New Dawn so far I can say I actually missed the tower climbing when i went from 3 to 5. Maybe most people are just fed up with them because they're seemingly in every Ubisoft game but I haven't played them and liked these little vertical platform levels that they are.

@@albertparish1729 I have FC4, it's still sealed but I'll definitely play it soon, lookin' quite forward to it. I enjoyed New Dawn alot since it's basically a direct sequel to FC5. It has some RPG-elements which in my opinion clashes with the open world-gameplay like weapons classes (once you're at a certain level it doesn't matter anymore though) and you can only have one gun for hire with you so there will be no chatter. The map is also smaller this time but the world stays populated with enemies even after you've reached the end of the story so can keep on playing and upgrading weapons as long as you enjoy it. Definitely recommended if you've enjoyed past Far Cry games.

I agree this game has the silliest, most supension of disbelief required story, Antagonists who just aren't scary because I know what happens when Far cry gets into a room with them and isn't strapped to a chair. That being said, it's the most fun installment. I enjoyed the crap out of it. If only I could get planes to stop harassing me when i'm trying to do things.

Vegasweddings That ending is open ended though, we don't actually know if it's North Korea or not. Hell, we can't even say for sure that the nukes were even real. The Trump references were also all entirely jokes, so the game is still apolitical because it does make fun of both sides.

Marcus Turner dude, every ending the far cry series is bad Far cry 2, you die and so does everyone else Far cry 3, you either get stabbed in the heart after impregnating citra and being forced to kill your friends or you leave eith severe ptsd, that is if the island natives don't kill you first. Far cry 4, you either turn kirat into a religious totalitarian stateb where anyone who questions religion is murdered and child molesters can run free, or a narco state that uses child soldiers to protect their opium farms. In defense of Ubisoft at least their game endings are realistic.

i dont want a happy ending i just wanted to kill the father.....i already understand about the endings of these games but if the games gonna set me a goal i want to go through with it everything would be cool with me if in at least one of the three endings they let me put a bullet through his skull. it could all end the same way that ubisoft did it i just want to kill him thats not a happy ending just a satisfying one

TheDuckClock tell that to LITERALLY everyone who expects a happy ending in games, the only tragically satisfying ending in games in my opinion was from rdr, dead space 2, gears of war 2 and god of war 3. When the witcher or any game like it LITERALLY punishes you in the ending for trying to be the hero everyone's ok with it. Mass Effect 3 forces you to pick one of 4 endings in a perfect representation of what happens when an unstoppable force goes against an immovable object and everyone tears it apart and looses their shit.

Hey now, let's be fair here: Arcade mode is a fucking great addition to the game. It is almost never a bad idea to let players have access to dev tools so they can create additional content. Also Ubisoft IS and has made Arcade mode maps for us already, check those creator tags guys. They just dropped a few new ones on us like two days ago. So they've already given us more free maps than any Call of Duty or Battlefield game has ever given us, lol. Also I

DarthVader1100 basically u stay and fight or you take your police officer friends and leave all you worked for behind in a worse hole than before but if you fight you lose anyway because the only thing I can actually think makes any logical sense is Joseph planted nuclear missiles all over the county and rigged them to fire destroying the valley and leaving u trapped in a fallout shelter with Joseph for god knows how long and him gloating over u

Seriously good game, ending was awesome. Minor issue I had with it was the lack of your character's voice. Sure, Jason and Ajay from Farcry 3 and 4 weren't anything amazing, but their commentary and reactions to the world around them just made the games' stories feel more authentic.
