honesty I think you guys should make an individual video for Aleks and especially James, James has been here for 6-7 years and played a big role to the growth and development of the creatures, I think it would be amazing to just watch a 5 minute mash up of old and new james.

Kinda sad seeing how james and aleks have a stronger bond than james and jordan, james and jordan had been friends since the old machinima days.

This kind sucks. I love Cow Chop and all, but I loved the good ol' days when all the creatures were together making Minecraft let's plays. Those were fun videos.

3:29 THIS moment cemented them as brothers. Anyone else remember this fateful exchange? Actually, this whole video feels like a brother saying farewell to another, particularly Jordan to James. Those who've following since 2011 or earlier would find that those two, for all their arguing with each other, did legitimately care about each other like brothers, and that's one of the reasons the pair worked so well together in co-op. I'll miss that pair.

April 30th, 2016. The day the creatures died.

2015-2016 has been a bad time for the creatures

In 2010, I discovered Kootra, Nova, Seamus, Spoon, Ze, Dan, Chilled and Junkyard . They started the amazing idea to create a group, a group that would be named the Creatures. Then 2011 came, when Gassy and Sly would join and make great things with them. Later the Creature channel was created and Chilled left because he didn't wanted the group to become a business, and Junk because he couldn't get along with them and he had a family to take care. Then 2012, when they finally got a house and all of them met in person for the first time. Everything was perfect, even though Spoon and Ze would come occasionally, until the end of the year when Gassy left because he wasn't getting involved with them as before. 2013 came, and a new person came, ImmortalHD, who will fill the empty hole that was made because of Gassy leaving. After they moved to a new house, everything was as it was before. Year 2014, the year when they started as a real business and got the office. Something had changed, everyone worked harder than before and it felt different. Ze and Spoon didn't showed up anymore and it wasn't sure what route they taken. Then in summer, another creature left. It was Sly, the one nobody expected to leave and he done that because of the work he had to put for the Hub and because his family needed him. At that time Dex came along, at first I had doubts about him but then I enjoyed seeing him as part of the family. Then at the end of the year they started to hire interns and put them in the videos. 2015 came, Seamus got sick and couldn't participate in the Hub. Another member joined and his name was Kevin, but he didn't stayed for long because he couldn't get used with the environment. Ze and Spoon still haven't showed and they didn't gave any news in what they are doing with the Hub. Then right before the year ended Seamus announced that he left the group a few months before because he couldn't get the content that he wanted. Last 2016, in the beginning of March, the Creatures announced that they will join the Rooster Teeth. Kootra and Dan told that now the interns can be called creatures and a new channel arrived, Cow Chop, formed by Nova, Immortal and a few interns. In the end of April, Dex told that he is no longer a Creature because he wasn't treated as a proper creature and he wanted to be the same when the camera was on. Not a week passed, we got the news that the creatures and interns who were part of Cow Chop are no longer part of the group and they moved out and at the same time Ze and Spoon confirmed that they weren't creatures for some time. In the end the Creatures started great, but they couldn't keep themselves together. It is hard for me and the fans to see that a wonderful group of people had vanished little by little over the years. I wish a good luck for every member that was and still is part of the Creatures and I hope that someday they will make a reunion were every one who were a part of this will come and see/meet each other. Thank you Creatures for 6 years of entertainment, I will miss you all.

Man this is hitting me hard ive been watching the creatures for years. They were always around when i was in a shit place back in junior high and they could make me smile and laugh in times where all i did was cry. They are slowly fading away as time goes on instead of new members members are just leaving. TO me this isnt just a group of youtubers going there separate ways but it feels more like a family dissolving. We lost Gassy and it was a little weird but i got used to it after a while. Then Sly left and i feel like ever since then its been a gap left in the creatures that no one could feel. Once Seamus left i realized that the Creatures just aren't what they used to be and it was only a matter of time. Now with James and Aleks gone it feels like a part of my childhood just died. All the Creatures current and old will always have my support 100% but its so sad the see what has become of the creatures.

What sucks more is that the friendship between James and Jordan seem to be over too :( I still miss the two of them playing games together.

I believe that thecreaturehub needs to be left alone now. The Creatures are gone. I'm not saying i hate Dan and Jordan.. or they should quit what they're doing but the channel needs to be over and the name left to the wind. Sure they were all creatures once but this channel was founded with Jordan and dan but also Seamus, James, Sp00n, Gassy, Sly, and Ze. I know and remember Junk and Chilled as creatures but the creatures began with the fundraising live stream, truly. I remember being so pissed off when Gassy left.. that this whole group of friends let whatever happened end their relationship. It was devastating. Sly was never really into the thing because of his family.. and I'm not saying I didn't love him, but he was pretty far from this channel at least. The first creature house was their climb and the second to recently was the peak of the creatures. everything was going well, but seamus was getting sick and he began to phase out of youtube as a whole. He was the reason I began watching them all the way back to his original single player minecraft series. And when he wanted to come back to youtube, the creatures had evolved so far past what they were and Seamus came back alone to restart his channel. I'm Not going to say that the merger with RT has done anything.. I'm not going to say that Jordan and Dan caused everyone to leave.. I'm not going to say that I hate any of the creatures From Chilled to Dex should have thought twice about leaving. Because I dont believe any of that and I wont. But I will say this... If the creatures had all stopped with the October live stream. If the channel had ended there, It would have been the greatest send off to what was the greatest group of Friends, Not youtubers, that have graced all of us with their content. I love the creatures and i love each member former and current, but I can't accept this channel continuing with only those 2 left. The Original group. The Founders, and I'm including aleks as a founder because he joined at the start, are gone. As much as I hate to beg for this but this channel should be let go of. Please let it die, If you made a new one, I would go to it, but I cant watch the two of you try to keep the name of the Creatures alive when it has been dying since the beginning of this year. I'm not hating on you, I'm just facing the truth, and the truth hurts. Writing this made me cry, not the video, not when gassy, sly, or seamus, who I found you through, left. Please keep going, get huge, become youtube legends if you can, I want every one of you to become legends alone, but the channel, which was the creation of 7 men to share themselves with so many people, should serve as a memory for all of us, Creatures and fans, and a reminder that even the greatest group of people won't last forever.

No Gassy, no Sly, no Nova, no Ze, no sp00nerism, no SSOH, no Immortal, no Blackhawk, no Dex, no reason to keep calling yourself The Creatures, and no reason to keep watching. Who knows? Maybe CowChop will bring these guys back into the fold. No forcing Kevin to come in to be social, no forcing Dex to be PC, no requiring Sly to be in Denver. Maybe we can get a channel like the one back in 2014? A bunch of friends having fun and going wild.

Honestly the Creatures started going super downhill for me as soon as Sly and the others left... it just wasn't the same, and the only reason I stayed was for James' hilarious bullshit

for me the creatures started to die when sly left but I still stuck with the creatures. but then Kevin left, but the worst of it all was when Seamus left the group. they were never the same without him but I still watched. And now that James and aleks left that's it for me. the only two of the original creatures left are dan and jordan and that's just so upsetting. the creatures are a shell of what they used to be and the fact that I've been watching the creatures since I was like 8 or 9 years old (I'm 16 now) and now all but 2 have went their own ways is so saddening.

Just like SNL. Members come and go, and while some chapters are worse than others, it will carry on and eventually hit another high point. Until then I wish you all luck in this new era!

Compared to the other farewell videos, this one doesn't feel like its enough. Honestly, seeing as James has been there since day one and has put in so much to this channel, I feel like this video hasn't done him or Aleks justice. Sad sad times now that all three of my favourite creatures have left :(

I started watching the creatures because of James.I was there when gassy left.Everyone was conflicted.I was there when Aleks joined.Everyone was furious.I was there when Dex and Kevin joined.Everyone was finally happy. I was there when Kevin left. Everyone was indifferent. I was there when Sly left. Everyone was sad. I was there when Dex left. Everyone was mad. I was there when Aleks,James,Spoon and Ze left. Everyone hoped for a new begining.

Remember cow chop didn't leave from feeling bad they simply wanted to expand I'm sure no bad blood between any of the members excluding Dex

Well R.I.P. the Creatures. They had a good run, but with no Gassy, Sly, Seamus, James and Aleks, the group is done. They were the ones who kept this channel alive, now they're all gone doing there own things. Not saying that Dan and Kootra aren't entertaining, but we all know who really wanted to see work together when it came to this channel. Nothing they put out will compare to the originals, and you can call me bias, but I have been with this channel since the start and I know for a fact that this channel can only thrive when the original creatures are the ones running the show and only the originals. Good luck to Dan and Kootra and the new employees, but I can no longer stay.

Nova and Aleks no longer in the creatures. Hm, I don't exactly know how to feel... I had been watching you guys forever, since I had been a fan of Nova since his first upload of "Adventures with Pineapple and Chuck Greene" and eventually Koots and ZeRoyalViking joined in and Nova changed his skin to cookie monster and Gassy joined in you guys had PBat and Junkyard in there as well, and Slyfox... The original Treehouse... I remember when Sp00n had quit and you guys made a cake for him and everything and he joined the Minecraft server for a second and he had jumped off the treehouse and Kootra ate the cake you guys had made, and James started crying... The Creatures had changed way too much, the original crew was the best and will always be what I remember when I hear "Creatures". There was a point where I had a goal in life where I had wanted to have friends just like the original creatures, and I wanted to live with all of them and just laugh all the time and we'd always be able to hang out, but you guys have changed so much, the Creatures doesn't even seem like a group of friends anymore, but a job, and it honestly pains me to see how Koots is the only real original Creature left. After all the videos I have watched of all of the originals, from the original episodes of Minecraft, this honestly makes me depressed to see how it had to end like this. I hope some time all the originals, Seamus, Sp00n, Nova, Koots, Ze, Sly, Gassy, Aleks, Danz, all the originals who made The Creatures who they really were, could all come back together and make the Creatures what they were before the money. A group of friends, and a bunch of ideas. #MakeCreaturesGreatAgain

Holy shit when you think about it, there's gonna be no minecraft stuff like treetopia, no road to e3 stuff, no more Christmas present giving thing, no more eater egg hunts, no more well a lot of good series which have brought joy and happiness to me. All good things must come to an end, I'm gonna miss James yelling JORDAN a lot. Nothing's gonna fell right or atleast not for a while, I'm so depressed that there's only 2 creatures left.

Honestly, now that I think about it, I think that we all over-reacted when this happened (I'm guilty as well). Dex's video, Jordan's address on reddit, that really, really bad Mario Maker video that they made, and finally James and Alek's leaving the creatures were all just horrible coincidences. I don't want to point fingers, but if Dex NEVER made that video addressing his experience with the creatures, then this wouldn't have been blown out of proportion. For example, The Creatures wouldn't have received all of this hate, their really bad mario maker video would have been received as a weird joke, and Alek's and James leaving the creatures would have been a shock (even if this drama never happened, they would have left anyway) and fans would have left and unsubscribed, but it wouldn't have been so bad with all this toxic hate. Jordan and Dan never deserved the hate they got from their own fans, and to those who stayed loyal, thank you guys for that. I hope for the best you guys!

Holy shit I didn't think I'd get as emotional as I did man seeing james go since he was one of the last original members left to leave now is just sad... but since it's official it looks like I have no reason to leave shitty comments or waste my life on shutting on the creatures... farewell creatures it was fun while it lasted with the 4-5 years I've been watching before THIS channel existed. it's been great :')

Even though James, Aleks, Intern Joe, and Aron are gone I will stay subbed, but the creatures will never be the same.

Coming back and reliving all the memories. Man, I've been following them for what, 4 or 5 years now? I've seen them go through the house and now into the office, when Alex joined, when Gassy left, when Seamus left, when Dexter joined and when he left. I even saw their first and second Treetopia series as they were being uploaded. So many memories that will never be forgotten.

The Creatures is like the Walking Dead, only a few of the originals are still here.

The Creatures have been my favorite group of RU-vidrs ever since I got into high school, it feels awful to see that same group splitting up and going different ways... All their series that have given me a smile over the years, it's just a feeling that I will never, ever get again.

In my opinion, things started going downhill when The Creature Hub, a gaming channel, stopped playing games. And became the lets do stupid shit and film it channel... A great way to alienate the viewer base.

This makes me sad. I'm getting all the feels. I'm gonna miss the hubs, secret santa, creature talks, streams, road to E3. everything. I know the creatures are still the creatures & that they're still here.. but like its not gonna be the same no more.
