“Ipecac” the syrup the nurse slipped into the pie was used to make you blow chunks and it would work fast! And was so violent that you wish you were dead. My mother stopped giving it to us when I was 6-7 but I remember my grandmother making me take when I was maybe 10 and she thought I drank poison. Fast forward to 90s when I was a late teenager and it was suck a fun dinking gag(literally) it’s how we got busted partying because a kid who was dared got so sick and parents brought to the hospital. He ratted us out about the party. There’s so many videos of it on RU-vid, nasty but funny as hell Btw the nurse plays a great role in Tom Hardy’s series “taboo” which is amazing. Tom probably played the biggest bad ass I’ve seen in cinema

I agree with Formal re: the 'coddling' way they present the black family Vs the Italian family at dinner. That's 1 of the factors that put me off this season. It's the same thing in adverts in the UK: The white male is usually presented as: weak; and ineffective. While the black male character is always portrayed as: capable; noble; and handsome. (It's been like that for 20+ years now.)

Did you notice the Italian boy sitting at the table with the black family whilst the black son is getting fed peanut butter....and yet the black mob is referred to as animals. 🤣🤣 FARGO is the greatest of them all.

They used a song I know best from Jackass (the intro scene) and a song I know as Caesar Flickerman’s theme from The Hunger Games (22:59). Fargo music choices always rule lol

That nurse might be the scariest character in any FARGO season. She's scary for the same reason that the Joker is scary. You just can't predict what such villains will do.

Gaetano AKA Nacho Libre. I dunno. I found him to be far too silly even for this show. Not the actor's fault tho. He was very good in the show Gamorrah. In defense of the new boss, I think his choice of words to The Nurse and her murder of his father was unintentional. The phrasing was so in-line with how mobsters order a hit, but the joke is that he's just a dummy who phrased it poorly.
