Ran when parked........ lol. I sold most of my really old tractors and upgraded to new JD's. They will break down at some point but so far so good. Good job getting it sorted out.
You'll laugh at this: local craigslist ad for a 70's 140 with cultivators. Worse shape than yours. $7500.00! 140's not too common around here (NE Texas) and people want them for the cultivator set up. I had 2 that I bought from TN already restored and did a little repair work. Made $3500.00 on the pair when I sold them.On yours replace the condenser: seems like it will run and if the condenser is failing it does what yours is doing. Specifically after it runs a little while a condenser that is getting weak will mess with the spark.
