My IH 544 TA clutch pressure plate broke in 5 pieces but the TA Planetary was working. I decided to take it apart anyway and found two missing springs and plugs and one fractured roller so its a good idea if your that far into it to take it apart. Did you ever finish this project?

I've recently pulled my 300 apart to the extent you have in these videos due to my differential falling apart. A few things I'd like to bring as input to this as I've researched replacement parts: 1. The planetary gear pins and needles have a replacement parts kit you can buy for $55, part number 361282K will get you a TA pin kit 2. You can buy a TA carrier that comes ready with a sprag assembly that you can dress out with your sun and planetary gears. Look up Walts Tractors online and they have lots of goodies. I'm curious where you're getting your replacement bearings from, as I don't want to pay the CNH prices, but I also want to put quality bearings back in my rear end and TA assembly.

Good day Now I can see why ta go. But there is alot of needle bearing in there. I read other comment that you might try from Auto truck. I can see why it gets so expensive. Yrs. ago I bought SW-6 with ta, boy it had loud noise in it, well had for about yr. & ta went. Now I know what is inside. thanks for taking the time to show us what the parts look like from the TA assembly. Where are you going to buy your parts? I'm curious what the cost difference is between buying all the parts and buying the $600 Ag Parts Company's rebuilt TA. Where are you located? Our 450 Diesel is apart. We are fixing the low side. I'm debating between buying a ramp and roller set versus the rebuilt unit. I'm also considering new 7 inch clutch and new main clutch.
