I can explain the weird proportions! They were done that ways on purpose to account for the double spread. Since in a manga, you'd have some kind of indentation due to the shape of the book, the large proportions were made so they look natural in the book. Of course, this means that the original drawings look weird, because they weren't meant to be shown in the original form.

Dude, the elongated leg is because it's a double-page spread. It looks normal if you have the manga physically, the author extended the leg to not look too short.

I swear JoJo is the ultimate stress test for straight people. It's almost impossible to walk out without at least questioning a few things about yourself.

I'd like to see more of the part 5 characters, because all of passione is insane. Also I'd like for you to look at the pieces araki draws when he does colaborations with fashion brands. He's worked with Gucci, Balenciaga and Converse

Part 4 is hindered by the fact that everyone in the season is pretty much a normal person, even kira. His whole thing was wanting a simple life, so he couldn't afford to be walking around dripped out like dio. They would have clocked him immediately 😂 Only rohan had drip but tbh it was enough to compensate for everyone else

Fun fact for Christian: Narciso Anasui actually was introduced as a female in the manga, but in the next chapter Araki decided to draw Anasui as a man and kept him that way for the rest of Stone Ocean. He said he wanted Anasui to be a man instead, to go beyond the normal standards of beauty.

I love how Christian started with the hate in his heart, but it still was mostly positive and aside from Anasui and Jolyne these were the simpler picks. Like Giorno got ok drip, and Josuke too... but Buccarati and Rohan be in the ocean drowning in style. Also Narciso was originally going to be a girl so ya'll questioning your sexualities was hilarious cause the original design aint that far off when they first show up in the manga. Don't know if it was censorship or just Araki wanted them to be a dude after thinking about it but that designs out there to find.

For Joseph big chicken leg the proportions were like that because the leg wrapped around the middle of the manga, so it looked normal. In digital it sucks since they just scan both pages and it comes out flat.

Just a small thing, the proportion in 2:40 art is so off and stretched because the leg is supposed to fold in the middle of the page when you are looking at it on paper. It wasn't meant to be viewed as a full art when it was made. A lot of Araki's old art has that weird stretch in the middle because it was never meant to be viewed as a full art poster like we do now, the art was meant to be viewed with the folding of the paper. It's really noticeable with limbs stretching, but you can also see it with backgrounds and buildings, one funny example is one weirdly long window among many normal looking ones during the fight with Straitso
