Billy Bob was the original face of Showbiz Pizza Place, the lead of the Rock-A-Fire Explosion eventually shifted to the gorilla Fatz Geronimo. The story behind Showbiz is messy as heck. The man who started it was supposed to be a Chuck E. Cheese franchisee and after learning all the ins and outs of the business voided his contact right before opening his first franchise location, copied the business model and became the biggest competitor. The lawsuit by Chuck E. Cheese against Showbiz was successful, but Showbiz had the last laugh buying Chuck E. Cheese out of bankruptcy in 1984. After continuing to coexist for a while they converted all Showbiz locations to Chuck E. Cheese due to the greater brand recognition in 1989.

To correct a mistake: Dairy Queen has had three other mascots for different generations. There was a CGI mouth known simply as "The Lips". Children of my generation may remember "Curly the Cone. Finally, in days long past, there was a mascot known as the "Little Miss Dairy Queen".

We had Showbiz Pizza. Seems like it's the same company as Chuck E Cheese but they rebranded the Showbiz stores. They had a whole hillbilly band. They were animatronic and often broke. It was a scary place. Mostly sure it's what inspired all the silly cartoon terror pizza mascot episodes in the 90s and eventually FNAF by proxy.

Showbiz Pizza gave me a terrifying fear of animatronics as a child and I forced my parents to eat in the not-showroom-area everytime we went (because I still wanted the pizza and the arcade experience... just no robo-bear.)

We had a Showbiz Pizza in Waco, TX growing up, although it was closed after the owners were caught embezzling money lol. The animatronics were impressive for their time, but I mostly valued it as a place that had the TMNT Arcade game.

I absolutely remember showbiz pizza. There was a place downtown that used to be a Chuck E. Cheese that eventually closed down, then a Showbiz Pizza opened up in the same spot then when they closed down the place reopened as a Chuck E. Cheese again.

Show Biz Pizza was a north Midwest north east chain that was a competitor Chuck E Cheese. My friends and I had many birthdays there. Eventually Chuck E. Cheese bought them out around me.
