Not sure if you remember but we went to highschool together for a couple years Im a little older then you but your videos inspire me to keep trying to reach my goals of maximum gains with low fat I've lost 23 pounds in the last month thank you Remington for helping me get my life back
I’ve lost 30 pounds already and I wouldn’t be able to do it if I didn’t eat fast food atleast once per week. Don’t feel bad when you get something “unhealthy” but obviously getting the healthier option will be 100% mote beneficial
Meal prepping also takes time and planning, but if you have to go the fast food route on an extremely busy schedule, then food combinations also become key in cutting back on calories. Say a 4 piece chicken nugget order can be paired with a small bowl of mixed salad on the side instead french fries.
I eat fast food just about every day. My go to is 2 McDoubles for lunch with water, an orange, and cashews. Wouldn’t say it’s clean, but not detrimental
My cheat days always have and always will be Saturdays. Although in my teen years, I was pretty damn active in sports like wrestling and football. I could cheat everyday and lose weight still.
Awesome video. I’m really struggling with cravings and your flexible style of dieting is fantastic. I used to always get steak hoagies from subway post workout. Wraps too.
I do 2 egg white delights from McDonalds also when I'm on the move and cutting...but I take the egg and meat off of one and put it on the other and eat one big breakfast sandwich to cut back the total amount of carbs I'm taking in.
Good to know when traveling or running errands what to grab in an ER situation. I usually just don't eat and starve and eat when i get home to save money, fat, and calories. But if im on the road, yeah i have noice. Thank you for these suggestions.
Most grocery stores will make you a dope sandwich at the deli with whatever you want on it. Then grab a piece of fruit or a perfectly weighed out deli side. You should be able to look up all the nutrition info pretty easily. That's my go-to when I'm out and about most days. You'll be out the door for less than Chipotle too. While I wait I do a grocery haul for the next few days, all on a half hour lunch break... throw the food in the break room fridge or in a cooler. Cant beat it. We have a Sprouts market across the road from our shop and they know me well over there. Today I had a chicken sandwich with LTO, avocado and bacon on multigrain (only 460 cals) a half pound of herb tuna salad batter than I could ever make myself, and a massive banana. Under 1000 calories, about 75-80 grams of protein. Basically two meals for $13. That's usually good for my lunch and a second lunch around 4pm since I usually end up working late. Or I'll scarf it all down at once and not feel guilty at all. Whatever.
Yo Rem, You’ve probably went over this in one of your previous zillion videos, but I’d like to see you educate us on cutting using different techniques, like low carb/keto/low fat and the differences, pros and cons of the different options. Great videos homie ✌️
Ex cfa employee here! There is no sauce on the chargrilled sandwich, just lettuce and tomato. The multigrain buns also are not run through butter, just the toaster :)
i saw chipotle and my eyes glowed up hahahaah btw i remember you saying a few vids back if you should change the intro and imo i think you should keep it, that song always gets my hype for the past few years lmao keep up the awesome work brotha!
Hey I found your channel couple days ago. So far I like what I have seen and I have a lot more to catch up on. Hopefully in the near future I can get a coaching from you, but being a truck driver, I’m a little tight on money right now. I see that you like to experiment with different types of diets for weight loss and building muscle. I’d appreciate it if you could make a video regarding what diets you like the best for weight loss with the experience you have had over the years with popular diets. I hear keto is a very good diet for weight loss, especially for someone like myself who is sedentary (other than walking into the shipper/receiver, sweeping a 53” trailer, and walking into the store from the parking lot) and does not have access to a gym, but people also tell me that it should be cycled and not be done consecutively for long term. I’m not obese, but I am overweight. Age: 24 Height: 5”6 Weight: 175lbs Goal: 150lbs-155lbs TDEE: 1899 calories (according to calculator on bodybuilding.com) BMR: 1835 calories (according to calculator on bodybuilding.com) Manually calculated using guides on bodybuilding.com: TDEE: 2,232.36 to 2,661.66 (very light to light activity) BMR: 1,717.2 calories BFP: 26% (estimate)
Sodium isn't terrible. If you are active the sodium will fuel your Neuro-pathways. Now don't get me wrong, you don't want to do it everyday, but here and there is fine.
I work at Mcalisters and my mom got into weight watchers and what I found surprising is a 3oz sherry shallot dressing (13 points), plus any salad is more in points than a king club (22). Sherry is literally just straight fat. Sherry is our #1 selling dressing with our salads. People come in all the time thinking they are being healthy with a salad but not realizing they aren't. Also to put into perspective when I did the test to see how many points I could eat daily it was 34 points and my mom is 23 points. The dressing alone is 1/3 what I could eat in a day if I followed weight watchers. My diet I'm doing rn is just replacing soda, chips and more with better stuff like water and veggies. I've been maintaining my weight the past year with a poor microwave pizza and burger diet and not going to the gym, so If I change some stuff and start going to the gym 3 times a week in theory i should lose weight. It will be slow but better than gaining weight and I'm only at 220 rn so I'm not too worried about needing to lose weight. Also because of acid reflex I cannot eat breakfast or I will throw it up and feel like shit the whole day. I talked to a doctor and he said the only thing you can do about it is eat better and drop soda. So far its working and I'm starting to do better. Also before I started to skip breakfast and had a window of 16 hours where I didn't eat I had no idea intermittent fasting was a thing. lol
Thank you! I’ve loss 145 pounds, when i eat fast food I waste a lot of food because, I only eat one piece of bread or just get a salad never thought about the hidden ingredients
Do you guys have joggers for women? I would love those! Also, can you both do a video on the basics of starting a clothing company for us new people that are interested in doing something similar? Thanks for another great video!
@RemingtonJames big fan of u bro! Keep doings these videos. How do u track steak at these places or in general. We don't have macros for steak over here in cyprus
Man, PERFECT video for the majority of us daily “mortals”! Great selection of some common restaurants also! That chicken sandwich at the end though...that looked severely on the “plain” side. Would’ve been a mental challenge to house it down dry!!
Hi james - could you do a video for someone who is out of shape such as myself 27% body fat which is 30kg and I weigh above 110kg - I'm struggling to work out a starting point and how big guys should train and eat . Looking the work always looking out to see if you've got a new video to upload Keep it up mate
Hey Remington - for a new video could you make a vid about vacation meal prep, vacation workouts? What you would do if you didn't have access to a gym for a week and had to do in home workout . Thanks Adam
One thing to know when eating at subway is that meat and cheese cost extra but u can get as many veggies as u want for no extra cost. So load that baby up
I have to try to do this with some of my local restaurants via carry out to try to keep our businesses afloat during COVID Prob just gonna have to count them all as cheat meals tho 😂😅
LOVE this video! Thank you for giving options of generally available fast food places for those days that are a rush... like today... chipotle it is lol
Chipotle is one of my favorite joints to get food from while eating clean(ish). I usually get double chicken, half rice, no beans, fajita veggies and corn and eat it with a bag of quest protein chips, puts me at around 90g protein in one meal
I know everyone is different but for me I think the biggest thing I learned when I first started weight loss was that I could still squeeze in a McDonald's or Taco Bell or whatever item in between now and then and still stay on track.
That is one sad subway sandwich mate! Trick is footlong with double chicken breast, no cheese, all the veggies except olives, a dash of sweet onion, lots of hot sauce. Pretty big meal for only around 650 kcal 👌
Can you do a video with some pros and cons of pork? Like sausage, pork chops, ham ribs that kind of thing. Mainly for cutting. Seems like everyone goes for chicken or beef only
Long time follow of yours and so glad for this video. Taking the family on vacation soon. Hopefully everything won’t be closed or on 🔥 But nevertheless I’m going to stay in my zone this trip unlike many others. Thanks for the content 💪
For me where I live the McDonald’s in my region offers a exclusive breakfast item which is a Portuguese sausage platter which is 3 Portuguese sausages about 2 cups of rice and then eggs it is 520 cals in total anyone’s opinions?
great video rem. if you havent had it before definitely try the egg white grill at chick fil a for a breakfast sandwich. tastes great and the macros are pretty good too
lost over 60lbs and gained strength eating dub meat chipotle for dinner nearly every day.. took it home and added fat free cheese and cottage cheese. so much protein
“I mean it taste like grilled chicken and bread” lol I love the honesty. Cause it looked sad. I also had the same reaction when I first got chick fila nuggets too... just grilled chicken cut into pieces 🙄
64 grams of carbs? I just started and so I'm learning but I thought per meal your not supposed to go above 35 grams of carbs .. is that true or should I focus on the fat more than the carbs? Since starting my diet I pay alot of attention to grams of sugars and grams of carbs but how many grams of fat per meal is considered the correct amount?
