Very good content. You touched the wider perspectives which youtubers do not show coz they want to sell courses and most ppl also fail to see coz of a limited way of thinking imposed upon them. Just see how many ppl spend a few minutes reading newspapers nowadays but wud spend hours on social media platforms where again these influencers will try to condition your mind make u believe that everyone in India will become AI engineers irrespective of the educational background if they buy their courses. Pls make a video to bust this myth and talk abt the skills and educational background required to become a real AI engineer or a researcher and wot percentage of ppl make it to that level
Yes many of friends are choosing computer hardware and robotics. Everyone is only concentrating on AI and Machine learning but we need someone to work on hardware as well
One thing everyone missing is that.....This are the fabs and OSATs..... More than VLSI... we will be needed semiconductor process, integration, yield, equipment engineers. And some needs trained in clean room experience. So choose your carrier carefully.. By the way I have an offer for both vlsi and integration engineer.... and I took integration engineer. All the best for your future.
Sir, what will happen when I will turn 40. Will Vlsi industry fire me due to age or would i be able to sustain in industry? Sir isn't vlsi industry saturated ? Latest chip size is 2nm and will there be still jobs after 15-20 years ?
The other things is unlike software engineering and AI and data science electronics and semiconductor are not subjects which people from other branches can learn in quick time.
Could you please share a pathway how to switch from different sectors to semiconductor industries? What are the skill sets they are expecting and how we can develop those skills?
I noticed my college placement offers for Intel, Dell, AMD were easily 16lpa and that got me curious. The interviews are also very hard corresponding to the the pay.
Ask him to try for campus placement in any core company such as NXP semiconductors or any other. I think semiconductor industry is bright future for electronics graduates
Yes you are right next the generation is meta and reusable rocket. Meta also needs hardware i mean semiconductor is a very important part of it's and simultaneously in rocket industry
