Sure wish they’d bring back the magnum Mohave mile. I was ready to go break 200mph with my 1000hp ZL1 and it’s been shut down. Working on a 1000hp 69 Camaro but not sure only a mile would get it done.

I’ve contacted them and they actually were doing a 1.25 mile that I believe would be long enough for me to crack the 200 mph mark, they also have some requirements I was not willing to do for that 200mph shirt. IE-roll bar in the street car. With the current 69 Camaro build which will have a roll bar and other restraints they require it may become an option for next spring.

I'm wondering how much drag that big scoop induces. Is there a way to get more pressurized air in there without that big scoop?

A cowl induction hood that breathes from the base of the windshield. That is a high--pressure zone. They would have to build some trick ducting under the hood to feed the tall tunnel ram.

RJ runs different motors for Big Red. Their biggest motor is a procharged beast that runs over 2000hp.

@@speedy7892 Cheers for the info. I have been watching the recently uploaded videos but those three engines were making considerably less than 2000hp - hence my confusion.

@@dtengineering1 these look like old recordings that the crew had that they've been uploading to the channel. I say this cause the event they are talking about (Mojave Mile) has ceased operations since 2018
