Tf is this shit, I'm -11 and can perry deedle at 666 in cut time, with my left hand swung under 17/11 time and my right hand is being played with my left foot while washing the dishes and raising a family of 3.4 while also trying to get a degree in neurology. I'm doing this all while in a medicaly induced coma because of my sick beats.

Self thought off and on for 30 plus years and it is really difficult finding a teacher in suburban Michigan who will take on intermediate to advanced students. I know this is 2 years old. But dammit all to hell man...245 is some serious shit for paradiddles. Can I ask how you manage to get the diddles down that fast? My doubles are shit...I max at about 200 but they aren't even anymore at that point and my paradiddles would make someone of your skill laugh hysterically. I can get to about 175 and I just cant hit the diddle. I'm working on the push pull technique but what is it that youre doing? Yours are beautiful at every tempo you did.
DooMRooM it's ok I can only play 200 BPM singles every other rudiment I'd be lucky if I hit 150, then again I've only been playing for 3 years but my chops suck hahahahahahahahaha

Can i please borrow the 15+ years of blood sweat and tears you invested? I am a casual drummer. Self taught. Never did my rudiments which came to bite me really hard when i picked the sticky back up after a 18 year hiatus. I want my son to learn the paradiddles before ANYTHING. Grind that Vater practice pad. Bought him(and myself hehehehe) a very nice Alesis. I mean, it's not a TD25KV or anything but it's a great 7 piece, brand new. Cheap and sturdy so it can take a beating from a 3yr old rowdy boy and a sub par mid 30s drummer! hahaha. I'm almost too old to go back to the rudiments but i can spot a person who put in the work. YOU are unreal, my friend! Congrats on all the work that went into this and the natural skill you have developed. It's a sight to behold. *I have a friend by the name of Adam jarvis. He's may be faster than you but he's a blast beat guy. I'm sure he skipped his rudiments . He's in pig destroyer and like 10 other bands. One of the fastest drummers alive.
That was absolutely outstanding, sir! Genuinely! However, I'm actually dead and can play one bloody good paradidle every 93.75 quadrillion eons, provided the wind blows my dust in a south-westerly direction on the 31st of September, but only if it happens to be a full moon and on a leap year. It does sound really good though. The paradiddle.
My percussion instructor taught me to play on your elbows. Put the sticks in your hands normally and then droop your hands down and try to make the bead touch your elbow and then practice any rudiment.
The thing about this is that a lot of people can play at fat tempos "clean" but what about keeping your taps low and your accents high? If you throw away the technique then you really haven't gotten to that tempo yet. Nice video though!
I'd like to see right and left hand accents to showcase the next hand low and same accent hand diddle. But that is very impressive. Try to do another with accents to differentiate the notes and doubles, that would be tight AF
