Hey everyone, just a fast vid of binding the radiomaster r81 to the tx16s.

I'm running Module Status V1.3.1.36 AETR. I noticed you connected to Frsky X d8. My radio only has Frsky D d8. Will this allow me to bind?

Yes. As long as it's capable of d8. What radio are you using? And are you using the r81

Hey I know this video is from a while ago but could you help me... I have the R81 and the LiteRadio 2 SE transmitter. I bind them successfully (The red light blinks on the R81) then disconnect power. When I reconnect power instead of a solid red led, I get a flashing red led on the R81 and nothing works at all. Any help is appreciated thanks!

Also wanted to add the LiteRadio 2 transmitter is set to FrSky D8

@@stonecinematography1985 are you able to get it to bind? (Show movement and arm, say get the props to move?) If not, most likely it's a firmware issue. This happens just like the frsky xm and xm+. When you can't get it to bind or its blinking with an erratic red light, it's a firmware issue. Because the r81 is built identical to the frsky, you will have to play around the the correct firmwares in order to get a successful bind. It's a headache and tedious task, but once you find the firmware your good to go. You can try upgrading the receiver first (either firmware upgrade or downgrade and see if it binds) if thats no success, you may have to download an older firmware for radio (frsky protocol) let me know if this helps at all.

Mine won't bind plugged into craft, tried over and over,get red light but won't bind.

I've tried this with jumper tlite and jumper t12 Pro neither will bind.

All firmware up to date? And you are using the frsky d8?

@@RandomHobbies20 yep using d8,I want to put this receiver on my new radiolink A560 3d plane pnp.my x6r works OK but its much bigger.

@@SkyBandit45 are you too close to the radio when binding. I have found with d8, when I'm close to the radio when binding, it won't work. I would separate the two as far as you can and see what happens.

Do you have your sticks set up in the radio? Are you binding in d8?

@@SergioLopez-vu5lv okay. Make sure your not close to the receiver with the radio. If they are close it won't read. Maybe rebind it and see if it shows up in betaflight. Are you using the r8 receiver?

I know. I was skeptical about them running frsky protocol, but after the first use, I think they will have some great stuff to offer.

@@RandomHobbies20 I bought 2 R88's D8 protocol also to use with my QX7- the bind drops every time with both rx's they bind without problem and then next day they fail to operate garbage
