Wish you had more subs bro. I’m just now getting into FPV. Got my Qx7 w/ ACCST on the way I just hope it is ACCST and not ACCESS. Also got a fatshark scout And drone of choice will be a diatone R349. I just hope everything works fine when the rxsr comes in 😭
Hey. Thanks man. I’m currently working two jobs and keep my sanity!!! This is my hobby when I have a chance to fly. Takes my mind off long work days. If it doesn’t. Check out the xjt module. It will allow the access to get D8 and D16. I dropped Frsky controllers. I am currently using the Radiomaster tx16s. Love it. I will have a vid of that as well comparing them with my personal experience with both Thanks for the 👍🏻
The title is a little devious.. there is no binding D8 receivers to ACCESS... you are binding D8 receivers to the module, which is basically a dofferent radio module, completely separate from ACCESS. (ACCESS being the radio communication protocol) Basically your radio is doing the computations from stick/switch inputs to the bare channell outputs and then the module does the encryption and transmission to the recever..
Hello :) maybe you can Help a absolut beginner...i got the tinyhawk 2, the frsky x9 lite and the irx4 lite. Ma question is, wehre i get the Firmware link for the d8 mode for the Module...my x9 lite comes with access. Thats all i know 😅
Hey, I am not entirely familiar with the irx lite module but I know it is a multi 4in1 module. When going into the radio, you have to turn internal module off and external module on. I would try with the xjt module selection because I know that offers the d8 selection you are looking for. Let me know if this helps
Yea. Any remote before access which was accst will have d8. Or any radios that have a 4in1 will have d8 and a good majority of other protocols. D16 runs the same on access and accst
Just received my q7 access but has no extra module , d8 was an option and was no issues binding to my tiny hawk 1/2 and freestyle 1/2 out the box , unless something is special with the one I got it does so without the added module
what version of firmware are you using for the radio, is it the most current? I have not kept up with frsky in the last few months so they may have allowed for the d8. I know when I got the access in my qx7 last fall, they said that it will only allow for d16 access, but the system was capable of doing d8 (possibly). What kind of range are you getting with that setup? Just curious because in the early days of access there have been known dropouts and loss. This is good to know!
@@RandomHobbies20 honestly will have to check as to which version is on the controller it was shipped to me this way , bought from amazon , I haven't done any distance tests short of flying around my yard , I didn't have any issues doing so but then again I only have a couple acres and I'm within ten miles of an airport , while they give me 400 feet I try not to exceed the treetops by much so say 40-50 feet high
did you manage to bind your d8 receiver to taranis qx7 using the xjt module? thinking between the qx7 and radiometer tx12 which supports d8. which would you recommend?
You would have to run without the xf. Or add a xf nano to the drone. Run without the external module and run internal. Are you on access or accst for the x9?
@@RandomHobbies20 i got the rx nano and the tbs tx got it to bind but won’t talk to the drone😔i got so many drones and can’t even fly them lol it sucks, been doing everything i see on RU-vid just won’t work.
Yea. Unfortunately. I have seen people with access have some sort of luck biding in d16 using channel 1-8 with telemetry off. That wasn’t the case for me. I have since switched to radiomaster tx16 for that reason.
@@RandomHobbies20 Yea been looking at those for myself . Well probably go that root In the future .. My friend when and Got the module you recommended . hopefully it'll all work out when it gets here .
@@RandomHobbies20 Yeah when I got mine I found out my x7 frsky Q didn't support it and had to buy another module after I tried everything to bind it with no luck. Then I went mad and just soldered an r9 receiver to the dam thing and that worked, but was way to big and heavy. So now have a jumper T8SG and bound and flying finally... My advice to all newbees get the kit.
