This is by far the best cover I've heard anyone attempt this song. Awesome vocals, instrumentals, harmony and stage presence. How they aren't destroying the musical field is absolutely criminal. Well done.
a bit overproduced and computerized for my taste, still it is good. clearly if you think this is the best you have not seen this one... ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-NU1oVqfmq34.html
The reason they aren't shredding the music scene is that the complexity of the song is not understood by the younger people. Plus they are not using autotune.
Fantastic harmonies here. What makes it sooo good are the simple chords that go where they're supposed to go ... and a melody straight out of a gospel church down south.
OMG, I'm an old man and listen to Queen when they charted with this song, you made me realize just how versatile this song is. THANK YOU. Keep going because you are now part of my song list.
Wow! Just wow! Loved the whole stage performance, the way the video was shot, the sound, the outfits, and customizing the arrangement to make it your own. So impressed!
Why hasn't this come up before? As a big fan of Queen and seeing them do this live twice, in '80 & '82, I think Freddie would have a big smile on his face. I know I did.
This is so impressive because it actually highlighted why I love the original. If you’d asked me, I’d have said the guitar riff, but this cover made me realise this song is all about the vocal harmonies, and you nail them!
Thank you ladies, I listened to this song when it was first released in 1978... your version is amazing! Alice Gruden on bass is the icing on the cake but I'm just a bit biased being married to a beautiful bass/tuba player of my own.
This was rad!!! One of my favorite Queen tracks, done with total respect and competence. Super fun watch. Love the glossy, brassy vocal harmonies. Nicely arranged. A properly rocking backing band, too. The more young rocker chicks out there, the better. Thanks, algorithm!
Loved it. Most queen covers set my teeth on edge as they lose what made the original so rockin, but you guys nailed it. The harmonies, the bouncy-fun energy. And thank you for not over singing it, so many people try to be Freddy mercury, which is nigh impossible, but you guys did you and it was awesome!
I follow y’all on TikTok and said there that y’all are RIDICULOUSLY TALENTED!! I’ll say it again here! Huge Queen fan and this is my favorite song of theirs. Y’all KILL IT!!!
Fat Bottomed Girls is one of my favorite Queen songs, and one my wife's favorite songs in general. So when I showed her this cover, she was ecstatic. We turned up the volume all the way and shook the house with it! I personally love the elegant 3-part harmony combined with the grungy guitar+bass combo. Wonderful job, ladies!!! It captures the heart of the original, and it's great to see women who aren't offended by this song. It's a shame that this banger was taken off of Queen's most recent greatest hits remaster.
Interesting country and western twist to an iconic Queen song, but the whole "looks completely comfortable with who they are" comment makes no sense, especially since not a one of them meet the requirements of being considered a "fat-bottomed girl".
@@jeffburnham6611 Why in the world did you think that I was referring to them being a "fat bottomed girl" when I said that they were completely comfortable with who they are?
@@johnabbottphotographyI was disappointed that the “band” doesn’t appear to be part of the group. They add to what you’re saying with them being comfortable with who they are, but it appears as though the group is just the three ladies singing. The behind the scenes video for this song and the other videos only feature the vocalists.
I am totally blown away by these ladies!!! 👏👏👏 Each one is an EXTREMELY talented musician, their voices are beautiful, their harmonies are PERFECT, and they are all gorgeous!!! 🥰❤️💗🌹❣️ I have found a new favorite band!!!! You ladies are the BEST!!!! 🥰❤️💗❣️🌹
👍👌👏 Oh WOW, simply fantastic! What a great performance! Perfect harmonies, perfect sound, perfect girls. Additionally definitely a great song adaption. Why have I never heard of this band/group? And why not much more views! They are really talented and definitely should be famous! Respectively they deserve to be famous. This song will go straight onto/into my private playlist. 💚💚💚 Best regards, luck and health in particular.
I now know that automatically generated play lists DO contain hidden treasure! This was outstanding! As soon as I am done finding my jaw and picking it up... I'm going to HOPE these amazing ladies are still doing stuff. If they aren't, then I missed out on an amazing bunch of artists! I think "Brava" is the feminine form of Bravo! Wonderful performance! Edited to add: Yay! They are still around! I just followed on Instagram and subscribed here (after only one song... that's VERY rare for me). THIS is TALENT!!
Excellent cover by talented musicians! What more can I say except it’s also great when a cover reminds us of the true brilliance of the song itself. Thanks for this video and thank you also, Freddie and Queen. ❤️
Man, the note that the lead belts out at 2:32 gives me goosebumps. I've listened to it probably 7-8 times in a row just now. Killer cover, you have a new subscriber in little ol' Indiana.
I was scrolling and came across your video and I really love your music and you are all talented ladies! Great job on the song you really kicked but!! ❤
DAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAMN! Why is this not on the charts right now???? TIGHT harmonies, incredible layering and interplay of solos at the end, solid musicianship all around (though, let's face it... the voices are the draw here). Incredibly impressive. Hope you make it big.
Being a retired music teacher, I must say, these young lady's harmonizing was absolutely FLAWLESS. They made this cover their own and it's FANTASTIC. I have the album and a cassette of the original and if this one is released I'm buying it. Each and every one of 'em are just cuter than a speckled pup so can't pick a favorite based on looks, but that guitar player stole my heart with her stage presence. The way she worked on that guitar made you pay attention to her. None of 'em are Fat Bottomed but they're talent and show stopping good looks supersedes any kind of Bottom one may conjur up😍😍😍😍😍
You retired before Melodyne was a thing. Autotune started the trend, but I can pretty much promise Melodyne is responsible for the perfect harmonies. Phrasing, inflection, timing and pitch can all be tweaked until it sounds like this. And these it almost always is.
