3:30 those aren't crosses that decorate Jeanne's banner, they're Fleurs de Lys; symbols of royalty that marked the flag of France until the citizens' revolution against Louis XVI took place. Aside from this and the mispronunciations of a few French names, great lore video. Jeanne D'arc is easily among my favorite servants, alongside Artoria, Iskandar, and Altera!

Kinda late, but hey. The meme's about the most infamous French politician Jean-Marie Le Pen, an old xenophobic dude who was kicked out of his own party (far right) by his own daughter because he just couldn't help making racist comments all the time. And at a commemorative event to Jeanne d'Arc, Le Pen looked up to Jeanne's statue in Paris and randomly shouted "Jeaaaanne, Help us!". Which immediately ignited the creativity of thousands of french memester, and that meme's still going strong 3 years later. (Then again, Le Pen is a meme goldmine) Symbolicaly, Jeanne represent the one who drove out the invaders and reclaimed France, and Le Pen has been consistently talking about how France is getting invaded by migrants, so you probably get the idea of why he did that.

Truly best girl. I was lucky enough to get her very early on in GO, and now she's max ascended and max grailed. I'm saddened that the Apocrypha anime cut out a really great conversation between her and Vlad about Catholicisim and why she has no regrets from life. It's in the manga and of course the LN, though.

As a lover of history, I've enjoyed this for its research. Although the second half is fictional, the first half is vary non-fictional with both the well researched details and the focus on Jeanne's story, rather then just the history of her life alone. Comparing the two legendary Jeanne D'Archetypes: Jeanne D'Arc (Fate Series) and Kallen Kaslana (Honkai Series). The Fate Grand Order and Honkai Imapct 3rd have alot of Similiarities between Jeanne D'Arc and Kallen Kaslana's Jeanne D'Archetypes. I want Kallen Kaslana and Jeanne D'Arc to have a collaberation together and the two greatest Jeanne D'Archetypes will fight along side together against the two different evils of Humanity.

Jeanne d' Arc was a political figure I found myself fascinated by all thanks to a certain PSP strategy RPG( still pissed off that I can't emulate it because emulation for that game is a pain in the ass) so I was really surprised to find out that she would be a servant in the Fate universe. After that she became one of my favorites in the series and while she does indeed have a saber face, Jeanne is still a lovable character all the same.

This reminds me of a demotivational poster I made where I found this really good picture that had Sakura Nero Mash and Jeanne all together. The funny thing about it was three out of the four girls each had a protagonist in a plushie that they were hugging except for Jeanne. On the poster I said everyone gets a protagonist except for ruler poor Jeanne as a little joking reference to Sieg.

Imagine if Jeanne and Astolfo had been portrayed a little closer to their histories personality-wise. So much comedy potential. Astolfo would be near-constantly hitting on her, and she'd retaliate by whacking him over the head with the flat of her sword because she's a Good Christian Girl.

Well, she's technically the French version of King Arthur. Both of them are saviors, both of them are betrayed, their best friend went nuts after their death. Only differences : Jeanne was a peasant girl and Arthur has not been canonized.

I just read up on Jeanne D'Arc, After watching most of Apocrypha and DAMN her fate was DARK. Her real life fate and all of the aftermath. I had no knowledge of any of it except her death and what she symbolizes for France. I was filled with anger when I saw her death as a heretic, burning to death. I didn't even know why, but I was angered by the death of a fictional Version of a historical Figure I don't even had knowledge about.
