This is a TV Broadcast of the Philadelphia Catholic League Semi-Final (Northern Division Championship) between the Father Judge Crusaders and the Bishop Egan Eagles at Veterans Stadium on December 6, 1981. Bishop Egan finished the regular season in 3rd place in the Northern Division with a record of 6-2 behind Archbishop Wood and Cardinal Dougherty who were both 7-1. Judge finished the regular season in 4th place with a record of 5-3. Father Judge beat Archbishop Wood in the first round of the playoffs 31-0. Judge's running back Jerry Magallanes rushed for 272 yards and 4 TDs on 38 carries against Wood. Bishop Egan defeated Cardinal Dougherty 13-7 to get to the semi-finals. The winner would go on to face the Southern Division Champs, Cardinal O'Hara, the following weekend.
