My teen son has nonverbal autism. I can't imagine making a channel revolved around him.

I spend a lot of days at work telling young people they have metastatic cancer or some other serious illness/disease but I am sitting here watching a man tear up over losing some videos of him exploiting a child with disabilities? This is some serious out of touch with reality privileged shit. Cry me a river, we don’t care. Everyone needs to go touch grass.

My uncle has a YT channel but it is completely private and he has to approve each follower. He did this to post family videos for family's eyes only. He has videos going back to when my grandparents were young and I can see my great grandparents. It is possible to upload videos for memories WITHOUT showing millions of people or exploiting. It's sad that they know this yet won't do this.

Last time I saw fathering autism was years ago! They all gained significant amounts of weight. That’s really sad. Hopefully their account will be gone for good.

Great video Josh! Yeah, FA got his channel back. FA and other family vloggers in my opinion are guilty of Human Trafficking. They exploit their kids for financial gain through forced labor (being on camera) and the kids don't see any of the money, especially, in the case of FA! Since this is all taking place on the computer and family vloggers reach people from all over it would fall under the jurisdiction of the FBI (USA) to investigate. Human Trafficking under forced labor is how we bring down Family Vloggers and anyone else who would exploit children/adults for monetary gain.

Nonverbal =\= inability to understand (there are other issues that can contribute) to ability to speak outside of autism. Unfortunately, she’s never really been treated like she has the ability and the capacity to learn more word language so we’ll likely never know if she truly has no capacity to give or withhold consent. It’s comparable to doctors of old thinking someone that is deaf HAD to be intellectually disabled too. The two things aren’t the same, there’s just no method yet to verify if she understands informed consent on a legal level. But, I have seen her shove her hand in the camera, cover herself, and walk out of the room. She is clearly demonstrating she does NOT consent to the camera being in her face, at the very least on a bodily autonomy level. When have they ever taken a video of them just talking TO her and WITH her? Instead they talk at her and about her with there like she’s a dog and cannot understand them. I don’t know about you, but I might shut down verbal communication if no one around me is treating me respectfully. They don’t listen even when she DOES communicate, whether it’s her AAC device, body language, or vocalizations. Why bother trying to learn the most difficult communication method if no one actually LISTENS? She’s actually a pretty good communicator, but they just ignore it and go “woe is me, look what I have to deal with” and shove a camera in her face after they set her up to FAIL. I know several autistics that are functionally mute in verbal/oral language, but usually have no issue communicating via text. I’m autistic. While I do have the ability to verbally communicate, it is not my preferred and not what I find easiest to express my thoughts. Written has always been my preferred method of communication.

The victim in this will ALWAYS be Abby. I was only diagnosed with ASD myself a couple of months ago, but I remember watching a few of his videos a few years ago. It was just so icky. Doing things he KNOWS will upset his disabled daughter, things that most autistics try to avoid themselves because we know it’s overwhelming and too much. Traveling constantly? No set schedule? Forcing Abby to be involved with DisneyWorld when you could tell she was upset with the entire idea from the start? She may be non verbal, but I, along with many other autistic adults I have spoken (read: typed words) to, believe she understands far MORE than her own parents give her credit for. She communicates many things with her body, her vocalizations, her eye contact, the objects she uses. But that’s parts of why many of us in the community do not like the levels that are assigned. Level 1 Assumes competency and withholds you from supports you do need (and those can vary by hour, by day, or by year), level 3 robs you of your competency and bodily autonomy. People assume level 3 means low intelligence, when that’s really not the case.

Tbh when they seem super hurt about losing memories, they probably really mean it. I mean, they aren’t fully present during those moments. It’s always about money and content. so if he loses it all he may actually not have the ability to remember certain life events and that’s so sad.

My youtube Google has nothing in its name that links to me or my channel FOR A REASON! It's not an email I use for ANYTHING by my youtube and adsense. All business emails go to a different email address for security. It is so baffling!

Asa responded that they do not think she needs a percentage but they would pay $25 per hour. Notice the wording. If she is in four 15 min vlogs she'll earn $25.00. This is legit and the court papers were gathered before he could seal them. Ask Father of the Year why he deserves all the money!

They do crappy on investments because he doesn’t do his homework it’s all get rich quick bullshit which doesn’t pay off.

The Air B&B is the house that Isaiah lived in. When he graduated in May last year they turned it into an AirB&B and Isaiah moved into the guest room attached to their house (Summer lived in that room when she was in college). Isaiah is in grad school and working. They wanted him to have his independence but also not have to focus on paying a mortgage while still in school.

Because Priscilla & Asa are so "shady", I feel like this whole thing could be a scam on us, the viewers, to gain them sympathy....and eventually he's the 'hero' when he gets his channel back. I could be wrong, but I think a lot of things are 'just for views'.

I can't imagine losing all the time and work on videos, regardless of content, but man not making backups is painful. This is what happens when people get into business/work and don't have the full skills yet. It's a hard lesson - but backups are so important. A large creator should have enough money to pay for cloud storage and backups. At the very least, a NAS on site with backups. Also, Google support is the worst for exactly what you said, they don't want to pay for support staff.

I’ve watched them over 5 years including the several months I unsubscribed and what I eventually I realized I watch to see what adventure they go on next, but binge watching Josh is opening my eyes

fathering Autism is the absolute worst and they make me so furious because there is no way Abby can consent. Hence the reason she's has to have power of attorney over her, because she can't consent or make life decisions on her own.I work with children and adults that are non verbal and autistic, on the spectrum very similar to Abby case. I used to watch fathering Autism religiously, that's how I found you. You opened my eyes to how damaging these channels are. Now I watch your channel religiously and no longer watch these scummy families vloggers.

Having your bank card/account hacked or stolen is what i`d call worrying ,and a real pain.Losing a channel that exploits a child/children ,sorry ,it can only be a blessing for the kids concerned.Abby`s earned enough for her (rubbish) parents ,and for her sake i hope they`re never able to exploit her again.

There is a hacker podcast that spoke about this where they buy email accounts or hack into popular RU-vid accounts, Twitter accounts, Instagram accounts and they basically hold them for a ransom. There was a guy that spoke about his story because he had one of the very first accounts on Instagram I think it was and these people on the dark web were trying to steal it from him. It gets crazy. I know that’s not what happened to Asa probably but you were asking Josh and that’s normally the reason people do it to get money out of those creators.
