100% agreed Steve🙌 so easy to work on. The 15 is super fun. Such workhorse out of a lightweight package. The 25 will be an awesome addition. I was looking at 12 or 15 in their star drag variants. But the 15LD surprisingly is still so close in overall weight.
@@socalsteve22 The 40n is such a beast and the 30 gets overlooked sometimes with the 25n similar in profile. A buddy brought up a 60# last year with his 30, always eye opening when we read/hear about other anglers push limits on these reels.
@@Seastheday88 I like to speak to Steve Carson Penn Rep when i get a chance, and see what the reels are capable of. He will definitely tell you what you want to hear.
@@socalsteve22 I’ll have to look it up, he did mention the details and I think he still under suggests it. But reports from other owners do get some above suggested rating.
Lol 100% agreed 😂. Surprisingly this tube was cheaper than buying the smaller size squeeze tube. I couldn’t say no to cheaper. But I’ll prob need a smaller jar to store it. Thanks for watching boss 🙌
Hi Shadi. Haven’t had a chance to. But they’ll be identical in the process. Only my 25n, Torque 30ld2 and the Talicas will need servicing soon. I’ll try to make those videos. The rest didn’t see as much action this past season.
@@Seastheday88 i hear you, i wonder how different the insides of the fathom compared to the torque. I have both but haven’t used any of them yet. My 25 and 40 are well used by now. Thanks again. Would be nice to compare the torque with the fathom insides. I wish i had your nice camera setup
@@sab35263 the 25n and 40n of the Fathom or Torque are prob the best two sizes to keep in your lineup. One for 30-40lb and other for 60-80lb. Perfect setup. Your Torques will be pleasant to use also. I caught a 45lb YellowFin Tuna over the summer with the Torque, it fought like a 90lb BFT, only thing that helped me was the low gear after lol. Check out a video I released prior. It’s called “Is it Worth it? Penn Torque vs Fathom”. I do a full review inside out of 60ld2 sizes. So far from looking at most of the Penn 2spd Fathom and Torque. They are near identical identical in Stainless Steel main and pinion gears. And the same dura drag material. Most of the differences are in the frame quality, better bearings, sealed drag, etc. I still own both the Fathom 25n and 40n. But have Fathom in star drag, 12, 15 and 25n sizes. These are about all I’ll keep for now. You’ll enjoy yours. Tight lines sir🤙
Absolutely mind boggling to me still. These are Penn’s bang for buck 2spds but so worthy for for what they are. I can only imagine the longevity of use getting the Torque version.
Hi Tony! 300 yards of 50lb power pro. Was tempted on 40lb braid for more yard, but figure I can top shot it with 40lb fluro/mono for YT yoyo on this one. Should be fun with fly line also.
@@francescodomingodangue4673 2 seasons. There is now a gen2 version just released but if you can find a gen1 for cheaper, I would get that over the newest one. Gen1 should have better discounts from vendors. I also have the 40nld2, it’s a good 60lb setup. Good luck sir.
Hey Mike. Idr exactly, but it was with something like a frame plate over the washer to hold it in place then tension loaded spring clip to secure it down. It slips my mind honestly, but I took it off on my 40n to examine just out of curiosity last season. Should be the same for the rest of the series size. Hope that helps 🤙
