I'm surprised that with all of Hürrem's power, the writers didn't allow for her to permanently end off any of Suleiman's sisters. Beyhan wasn't her enemy, Hatice killed herself after supposedly defeating Hürrem, Şah was forced out by Mihrimah, and Fatma had to leave after Mustafa and Kara Ahmed's death. Although, tbh, I don't remember what exact circumstance caused Fatma to leave and if Hürrem had any part in it.
Fatma sultan hired assassins to kill hurrem but hurrem survived and told Suleiman that fatma sultan tried to kill her with fatma sultan’s servant being the witness and suleiman called fatma, he asked her if she did it and said that he only had the servants words ( which clearly meant that there was no other proof and if fatma denied she be not guilty since her words are superior to her servants especially when there’s no other proof ) but Fatma instead of denying it, openly confessed it and said words which deeply hurt suleiman most probably because she was still angry at him for executing her husband so suleiman banished Fatma from the palace
I was about to say that maybe the writers were trying to stay close to the actual real life ends for the sisters as possible, but then realized that, truth be told, we know so little about their lives that the show runners literally could have done almost anything and had it still make sense.
yes exactly, ayse humasha sultan, daugher of mihrimah sultan. In the other series as you know, safiye mentions mihrimah sultan in a scene with so much respect, and many times hurrem sultana with great respect too. Im sad they showed hurrem sultanas crown just once, and also sad that they didnt mention her in the second season :(( It seems that the sultans and sultanas held great respect for their grand grand (and grand and grand...) valide hurrem sultana.
Actually, according to history, Shehzade Murad named his eldest daughter Humashah Sultan, after his first cousin, Humashah Sultan. She was Hurrem's eldest son Mehmet's only child. It was Murad's cousin Humashah who presented Safiya to him, that's why Murad named his first daughter after her. Sources vary on who was Mehmet's daughter Humashah Sultan's mother, some say it was EsmaKhan Sultan but, no one knows for sure. Also, Humashah Sultan was married to Lala Mustafa Pasha (who was Beyazid's teacher in this show). Mehmet's daughter Humashah and Meharmah's daughter Ayesha-Humashah were both Suleyman's favorite grandchildren.
How dare fatma? Who is she to involve there? She's lucky to be in palace and not exiled by Hurrem sultana to old palace. Hurrem sultan well said to fatma
@@ThisisSirLancelot seems you’ve got some opinions, boss. But it’s a good point. Who, exactly, is Fatma to tell anybody anything? She’s Mihrimah’s paternal aunt, not her mother or father, and Mihrimah is a married woman with a tongue; she doesn’t need her philandering aunt to advocate for her to her own father.
@@cloverazar5315 Agreed, Mihrimah is a married woman with her own kid so why is this useless Fatma interfering in her matters, why doesn't she just focus on her boyfriends?
@@cloverazar5315 well said. Who is fatma to interfere? A no one. Hurrem sultan once again proves how good mother she is! The best in series compared to others.
How does Hürrem not manage to get Fatma out of the Palace? The amount of times she had interfered in Hürrem's plans, Hürrem should've found a way to get rid of her by now.
