I'm picking up a 62 Pontiac Strato Cheif tomorrow and it's a similar green with some patina but parts of it have been fixed and sprayed with gray sealer so I'm definitely going to try what you did. Looks real good. Tip for making small spots on the panel use Meguiars compound,just flick it on the panel at a angle before you paint. Do not touch it after you flick it on. After you paint it and it sets up you can wipe off the compound and it leaves little primer or black spots (what ever color that was under it) on the panel.

You did a great job! I like it. I was wondering when you got the rear quarter panels painted if you thought about ditching the patina look because it looked really good. Very well put together video too.
