However, that needs to be proven. He was a registered Republican with some news outlets reporting he made a $15 donation to a Dem PAC with a couple outlets saying that is incorrect and it was someone else with the same name. One of his old classmates in an interview has said he was very conservative. There are groups within the GOP that have great distain for Trump including some pro lifers over the past week that are blaming Trump for the change in party platform to remove the goal of a national abortion bad.
