I'm a fan because you are an amazing example of how a smart person just needs to be in the right direction. Building things in society is a much greater cause
that whole prisoner/inmate code cracks me up. Because more often than not when it’s their ass that’s about to get hammered they snitch. I’m a Sergeant and have been in corrections for the last 5+ years and you wouldn’t believe how many requests i get to speak with our investigators which is essentially just to snitch. Most people can rarely get passed their own wants and needs, and it’s usually the guys constantly calling everyone else a snitch and acting like they have some kind of “code” that end up snitching.
Exactly. Matt did a great job deconstructing the whole “code” ideology. It’s a facetious ideology that everyone likes to think they’d stand by until shit hits the fan. It’s human nature. It’s different if you’re turning on a loved one, but anything else is free game, because they’d snitch on you too.
He gives a great realistic perspective of what a criminal will do to other criminals between a rock and a hard place. I respect his humility. I was almost sure I wasn't going to be convinced that "ratting" is the thing to do but here we are.
Love you Matt so glad you’re doing good! Ive followed you since the beginning, but I’ve never had enough money to give it to you however, I’ve always wished you the best. Glad to see you’re doing it.🎉🎉🎉🎉
My buddy worked for MemoryTen and there was robberies in the Bay Area where people would steal RAM and CPUs bc RAM doesn’t have any serial numbers. One time a Google order was hit that was worth millions.
Matt ur inspirational because people see u and think if this guy can turn his life around after a 26 year sentence then my little problems ain't sht and I can turn it around too.
Matt made a great point about investing in infrastructure. Infrastructure is definitely one area that most people don’t want to invest in but everybody benefits from. And yes some of the airports in the US aren’t the best but outside of a few international hubs, it’s countries airports are FAR worse!!
I think I remember Matt saying that turning on your friends are what rats are and snitches just cooperate and give info on other people that arent necessarily a friend.
I’ve heard his story so many times and there are parts that I understand but one of the key parts I don’t understand is how the identities he created as newborns suddenly are adults with mortgages 😂 either way it’s so entertaining I hope they make a movie about him one day!
The no snitching / anti rat sentiment amongst criminals is more associated with gangs, crime family’s , men who willingly joined an organization with a structure like a business or military, with soldiers taking orders from team leaders who answer to the boss. Snitching amongst gang members or made men is the ultimate sin, the organization is supposed to be a secret so ratting is an acknowledgement of the groups existence and fellow members are considered your family/brothers so selling them out is considered the most treacherous , devious, form of betrayal for a man to commit , harming your brother is an ancient sin of man ,like caines killing able where God cursed generations Caines offspring .
Good ole 2/22’s back in the day when no one could afford those houses but the mortgage companies would lie to the banks and the banks gave out huge loans to people that had no business buying a home
Prisoners dilemma. That only applies when there is disloyalty in your crew. If you get locked up with someone and one of you falls for whatever Dilema their trying to arrange, then you were crap in the first place and you should work legally.
Reinvesting.. pretty much just flipping it. The thing is, when you’re making money like that, you can’t really spend it the way you’d want to unless you launder it so that it’s clean money with no ties to fraud.
When it’s administered through a TRT program overseen by a physician, it’s actually quite safe. All about staying within natural levels and getting regular blood tests to ensure that there aren’t any issues. I’m on TRT myself.
Damn shame that this channel is mostly a podcast now. I remember when these guys were out here making the craziest documentaries in the Tampa Bay Area.
Apart from guarding politicians the Secret Service also performs duties related to safeguarding the US financial system/strength of US currency. So if you're doing high level fraud, organised crime activities relating to fraud or counterfeiting money, it's the Secret Service that will come after you. It's their job to ensure that the US financial system is not destabilized or seen as untrustworthy due to fraudsters.
I commented on Larry’s podcast about having Matt on there. Both in Florida, both were in Coleman, a lot of things to talk about. I figured it would be a good match
