As long as we continue in the faith by walking with Jesus and confessing sins when necessary our eternal security is as firm as His allegiance is to His name.

A good tree CANNOT bear bad fruit & a bad tree CANNOT bear good fruit. You will know the tree by its fruit. For out of the abundance of the heart the mouth SPEAKS.” We are good trees who bear good fruit because the WORD of God abides in us. I have sinned countless times but my testimony never changes. I only speak good things because God is good & His word is good & righteous & true & His word abides in me & His word never changes. This is the stability & the rock solid foundation I stand on. We are not good but it is the word of God that is in us that is good. This is why we preach GOOD news. We preach forgiveness of sins. Peace with God by the blood of His cross. Not BAD news. Not condemnation, not fear, not punishment. Gehenna was not a place of punishment, it was just where criminals were discarded after they died. The only point Jesus was making when speaking about Gehenna is that the Pharisees were no different from the criminals who were thrown into Gehenna after death. This was greatly offensive because the Pharisees were “too righteous” to be thrown into Gehenna with sinners. “I did not come into the world to condemn the world but that the world might be saved through Me.” “You have that which accuses you, MOSES. If you reject His writings how will you receive Me, for he spoke of ME?” Love ALWAYS rejoices in the truth. Perfect loves DRIVES OUT fear for fear has to do with PUNISHMENT. Does God so love the world? Is God’s love perfect? Be perfect, even as your Father in heaven is perfect. How is He perfect? By loving enemies. “God demonstrates His love towards us in that while we were SINNERS Christ died for us.” Don’t be a spring water & salt water. Only spring water. He who believes in Me from his innermost being shall flow STREAMS of LIVING water. Our words should be living water, giving life to the hearer.
