The design of the AO-001 is a pocket-sized fastback knife kit with a modern tanto blade grind. The black G-10 handles on this folding knife kit model are 3D milled and feature an excellent grip texture surface. The modern tanto blade design has a 600-grit satin finish and is made with AUS8 stainless steel. All stainless parts are heat-treated and designed to the tightest tolerances. The opening mechanism is tight and opens the folding knife kit with a "snap, " as it should.
This model can be built as an assisted opening flipper design using the supplied mechanism parts. The locking liner design is strong and secure and features serrations on the contact point of the lock bar. It also features a fully-reversible pocket clip for tip-up or tip-down carry.
