@V.A yeah, I decided not to purchase the Smeg kettle part of the reason is that the kettle -cap isn't made well and its plastic therefore I think easily built-up lime stain even though every kettle has the lasses with stain but the Smeg kettles are more so, I have electric green De'Longhi kettle and toaster and had for over year and haven't issues at all, maybe because the inside the kettle made of all stan-steel? could be ?? I really like Smeg products (do have Smeg- toaster, drip coffee maker and milk frother and also waiting for coffee grinder to be arrive), bottom line is when purchasing the expensive small appliances should be good care -will lest long term life span
