These Types Of Sirens Are So Very Awesome And Loud . They've Been Around For A Long Time .

This one is the same as our fire siren in odessa ny. I love the noise of this siren. It's a very pure sounding siren

your right, this is sure the best sounding XT22. glad it wasnt replaced like the 2T22 was over in LaPorte county that i shot back in '08. awesome video!

Why do I have to answer to all these comments? Read the title, it's a 3T22. I have seen it in person, the solenoids are on the backside of the intakes and you can't see them from the video angle.

That's a nice sounding single phase siren, probably just put a new set of brushes in it.

Possibly the creepiest - and the ONLY creepy - 3T22 I've heard. Never heard a 3T22 or 2T22, even, that sounded nasty like that!

@robertgift A lot denser air at about 1300 feet rather than 5280. Also might be on 208V service.

This siren is three phase. The motor on a single phase is a lot taller and the wind up is slower. Look at other videos of 2/3T22's running on 208V three phase and compare it to this one

@amberlynn6914 It's not single phase. The motor isn't tall like a single phase is.

that looks like a 2t22 i dont see any red 3t22's. and i dont see a selenoid box on it either, unless that white box is near the lower intake.

Like the way it does not as rapidly rise in pitch. Single-phase? Or denser air?
