Small fish on rivers can often be the most reliable fish to target but sometimes due to low water levels those fish can only be found out of float fishing range. So in this video we target those banker fish with a refined feeder approach just days before the final round of the 2023 Feeder Masters Super League at Burton Joyce on the river Trent!

Great video Jamie, I have filed some of the ideas away for an upcoming match on the road stretch, so perfect timing, 👍👍 For anyone that is interested, I can thoroughly recommend a 1 -1 or instruction day with Jamie & Dean Barlow. I learned so much including a lot of things I wouldn't have worked out for myself and has given me feel a lot more confidence when river fishing.

Nice video Jamie. Does the wading rule only count when you first set up or could you be legal from the start and then breaking the rules later on in the match if the river was to considerably rise?

I always carry a few spinners and the ability to catch the pike and move them down the stretch, why don’t you ?

They’re just not allowed in our matches so we never really bother with them Tim

@@CatchFishingChannel That’s cool in a match, but on a pleasure/recon session clearing it out would’ve give more uninterrupted test time, sometimes ya catch them instantly too…. Tight lines
