@@dredvax snoop said Damn you didn't even hit nan one of em .. meaning you didn't hit a single one .. its southern terminology,,, like trick daddy's hit song "Nan nigga" where he basically is saying you won't find another nigga like me
Her look at 14:09 is just priceless. After all the grown men, hustlers, killers, witnesses, enemies, legendary assassins and drug kingpins that she's taken out- she realizes that she's about to meet her demise at the hands of an 8th grader whom she personally trained and helped recruit. "Smart nigga... You always was", it's almost like she don't mind going out by Michaels hand because at least she knows it was her that taught him everything he knows. Great scene.
Tony Starks Especially the part where Snoop looks into the side view mirror, rubs her head and says "How my hair look Mike?" Mike: "You look good girl." Mike did not want to smoke Snoop, but, he knew he had to. Awesome scene, awesome series. It was just too short.
Chris killed Prop Joe but her body count was massive so it would be silly to think she didn't have a hand in killing most of the guys that Marlo needed to have clipped on his way up. They served up Butchies boy in Monks apt too when Omar went flying off the ledge. That dude was an old school hitman so, legendary assassin might just apply to him too. Either way, Snoop had a tremendous body count.
"Deserve aint got nothing to do with it, its his time is all".....classic line from snoop, realized some time ago that people don't always get what they deserve, when they want....gotta realize that GOD orchestrates all life timelines....
Lets be honest.. Snoop wasn't as smart without Chris.. She just did what she was told otherwise she would've known to not give a hint away such as don't bring your gun.. Michael knew then he was being setup
Doug in San Diego no sir, YOUR comment is a FAIL. Notice I was replying to Thomas Dunaway, who was correcting the original poster. Notice how I also quoted "byork" directly from the original post which should be a dead giveaway. Up your reading comprehension skills
I think Mike would make a good Slim Charles esque charecter down the line. I know he is supposed to be the next Omar, but when he questions Chris about killing junebug, he shows a lot of intellect and maturity. Marlo was in the game to be the king. Mike would play the game to make money like Prop Joe, or Stringer. He wouldn't let his pride get in the way, just use his smarts to buy for one, sell for two.
8:42 Michael realizes he can’t trust Marlo crew Chris taught him the game survive and Omar spared him from Monk shootout apartment, and Michael also realizing he has a little brother to protect, and thought about Bug this moment,
Remember the chess conversation? See the guy come out of the vacant to end Bodie with a knight move? Once again. the writing on this show was phenomenal.
Vikes Fan there's also a scene where Chris and snoop are teaching o-dogg and another kid shooting scenarios and to hit the head , the same way o-dogg kills bodie
Brandon Thomas this programme is just story’s within story’s and that’s what makes it a fire programme. No Hollywood bullshit in this, just the rhythm of the game.
Right? It was like “hey no need to bring your gun, and actually if you could wear this…no, come on, it’s not a bullseye it’s the bold new insignia for our gang. And wear this blindfold too to complete the ensemble.”
The funny thing is snoop used to always get on mike about asking questions and why someone was getting killed but she used to always ask Chris the same questions. The roles were reversed once she became the teacher
@@Mr.Chris.P.Bacon1 for different reasons though. Mike was hoping to morally justify it. Snoop just wanted to know just to know. IMHO ayway. She did always want to know who and why. She even seemed bugged when Mike wouldn't tell her and Chris why he wanted bug's dad killed.
geoff I think it’s more along the lines of the military; she felt he was young and lacked stripes / experience. Therefor he didn’t rate to ask those type of questions; especially when he was so direct about it.
Man Poot half begging Bodie to retreat gets me every time. He looks at him so desperately, but still with enough respect to let Bodie do what he feels he needs to do.
Will Howarth The scene your talking about is the greatest scene in cinematic history. It can be disected over and over. It is loaded with foreshadowing, symbolism, and themes. But yes that brief moment where Poot looks at his best friend and pleads for him to run....it's flawless. They both know whats about to happen. It fucked Poot up so bad he ends up working in that shoe store later. He quits the game because of that. And Bodie....what a true soldier. He embraces it. He went out harder than anyone, ever.
I just saw his death on youtube the other day and boy does it hurt everytime. There really is so much going on in that one scene. Bodie was one of my favorites on the show so that's probably the roughest death on the show for me. It was so fast, Bodie didn't even know what hit him. I thought they would drag it out a little bit longer but nope. This show shows time and time again what really happens. You can get blasted by a 9yr old while buying a pack of smokes. Shit, this show is so god damn good...
Omar wouldn't have snitched on anything (or Chris) so no not every soldier...CHris and Bey = true soldiers (chris is LITERALLY the true definition of actual ex-military soldier + street soldier he was a soldier in '2' ways) chris just holds his arm out "take blood, put on handcuffs, marlo takes care of my peoples...ill do life" LOL shit and Bey = he takes a few more bodies on his jacket for a tater sandwich LOL thats str8 gangster right there lol
sticit2mn you (or in this case, y'all) choosing not to care is YOUR choice, but make NO mistake, she's right to feel that way, and we as humans (especially black or people of color) need to escape this lifestyle and way of thinking. Too many soldiers being lost from mass manipulation that we could gather for the REAL WAR, the REAL ENEMY (Government & The Elite). I think I may have an idea of why she feels that way, I agree wholeheartedly
Devin Young man, this show exposed things people didnt know were going on. This show changed people i know for the better. It's not a damn rap song glorifying the life. Its more of an expose on the cycle and corruption. There are a lot of media that promote your point. The wire isnt one of them
+CreepinOutDaZiploc Yea but she was trying to prevent him from getting the drop on her by bringing his own piece which is what happened..cos he brought his own piece..
I like how at the end, Snoop (like Marlo and the others) lowkey knew Mike wasn't a snitch, but only planned to kill him as a rule of the game not being caught. Also, I like Snoop's underlying reasoning knowing that Mike wasn't a pure, ruthless killer, just a smart one.
Good series. One of my favorites. Its just crazy how much killing & poison they fed one another. There was no brotherly love, only crabs in a barrel mentality.
@eatassonthefirstdate You’re the most wack type of person. Talkin like you know bout the type of mfers you’d shit your pants to be anywhere near all while knowing absolutely nothing about how life is outside your own neighborhood. Go meet people and get some perspective homie
@@eatassonthefirstdate yeah because black ppl can deny ur college entry forms, home loans, etc. Racism is systematic. Personal choice can only go so high when there is a ceiling
This is like the 3rd or 4th time I've seen you replying to these comments... You do realize these were posted 1 year+ ago? Ain't nobody going to reply to your goofy RU-vid gangster ass lol.
i like how bodie tapped his buddy, letting him know, go. His buddy, from a standpoint was saying " we are outnumbered, surprised, we need to evac". he could have run on his own, but he didn't pleading to his friend. idk, the situation is in the moment, no time to think, just do. imo
I love that Snoop not only goes along with the drive-by idea, but doesn't even get pissed when it doesn't work. Just clowns the dude for it. Giving her those lighter moments really helped add depth to her character.
A show like the Wire was too epic to be consumed by the masses initially. It’s like a comment on society. Meanwhile, stupid shit wins praise. This show here? Keeps getting better. I still learn about stuffed I missed one the previous 20 watches. The acting. I mean, everyone was brilliant. Amazing shit, this show was/is.
With all the indoor/in car gunshots featured in this show, the only way the writing could have been any better is to have every 3rd or 4th line from most characters be "What? I can't hear you". Hearing damage is real
Robert Morgan Yea that’s real talk tho. it’s only in a defensive situation usually where you blank out and evrytbing gets kinda quiet and you tune into the situation but not always the case
if i was in their situation i mean if i knew i was going 2 go out and kill some 1 premeditaed id use melted candle wax 2 cut down on the hearing damage i think it wouldnt be noticable abd regualr ear plugs
"in B more, we aim to hit a niggah" that was soo gangstah. the fact thats shes actually from B-more u gotta respect her. she really shoulda won a award. great finish toa great character
That reminds me of when I was a little kid and I didn't know how to whistle. I used to make a noise like that in an attempt to mimic that whistle call people use to get someone's attention. After hearing her do that a couple of times I wondered if that call had a similar origin.
Fun Fact That’s a Baltimore thing. She’s actually saying “yo” but lazily exaggerating the O while simultaneously changing and stretching out the pitch and cutting off the ending slightly of a already small word.
Another one her catchphrase is yoohoow or yaaahuerl, but it’s also just a play and emphasize on the word “yo”. It’s almost like yelling the word but in a lazy way 😂
Mack wilds an amazing actor. That sigh after snoop said it ain't about Walter deserving it's his time, was confirmation in his head like Marlo and this bitch really gonna try and kill me .
sasha tt Nah. He was smarter. Run now, fight later. It's late at night, the work day is almost finished anyway, and the corner would have still been there the next day. Plus it's late night, can't see shit, easy to be killed by a sneak attack.
"No need to bring your iron. I got a fresh one with shaved numbers". That's we're she fucked up at. T-Pain - Bartender. Whenever I hear that song I think of Snoop and her pretty hair. RIP Snoop. You was a beast of a female. Word
@@sbrooks729 I watched this show live back on the day. T-Pain was popping back then at the time. On the radio. They always had current hot records on the wire. Locked up by akon. Lloyd banks on fire ECT. You're reading way to into it with the butchie kill brah
"Hey Mr. Nugget. You the bomb. We selling chicken faster than you can tear the bone out so I'm gonna write my clowny ass name on this fat ass check for you."😂😂😂😂😂😂
