Anytime someone tell you to leave something, you not only ignore the person and bring it anyways...but you also have a spare hidden somewhere nearby just in case.
Rashad Pierre yeah that's why he made it to the end. He wasn't like Chris or Snoop who were just mindless robots, killing whoever Marlo said. He always wanted to know that he's wasn't just killing people just because they called someone a name or talking shit. Mike is the new Omar he kills for a reason not just because.
Honestly happy Snoop got clipped by Mike. She always gave him a hard time because Mike was smarter than she liked for him to be. Snoop didn't have a mind of her own and that's why she couldn't stand Mike
It's kinda sad how many people don't like for their subordinates to be smarter than they are. Instead of using that intelligence to further everybody, the supposed leader tries to cut them down to mask their insecurities; fortunately or unfortunately, it usually comes back to bite the leader because they lacked foresight.
Mike was a smart kid, even when he knew he was getting set up he still acted normal and asked questions like usual, he had brains and utilized everything he was taught. It still kind of bugs me that they were just going to do Mike over what they "thought", Marlo and everybody in his circle had enough people on the streets to figure out that Mike wasn't an informant
You do what u told don’t ask questions if u do an keep doing it no more trust FACTS but he just got what was going on HIM OR KILL meaning better you then me
Yeah Chris vouched for him by saying he don't c the boy snitching and u heard Marlo say he doesn't see Mike snitching either but r u willing to bet ur life on it....n the end u see that Chris wasn't gonna bet that..
Understanding MMA because snoop was a flower not a leader she never asked questions she did what she was told aka soldier mentality but she also recognized mike was smart and had leader mentality so she just disagreed with him 👎🏾
This would be interesting. Each season had a theme (the illegal drug trade, the seaport system, the city government and bureaucracy, the school system, and the print news media.) what would be the theme of any future seasons?
@@Kylefassbinderful That is genius. We could have the judge return and everything. Lance reddick can have a larger role. Ugh it would be perfect because season 5 layed it out so well with all the heavy hitters in jail. How would Mcnulty fit?
If you see it from a writer standpoint, Snoop's last words definitely meant something. This shit is fiction. There's not much left to chance in film. "How my hair look Mike?" is probably not improvised, so it could be related to wanting to control how they find her body. She seen so many of them. Or simply wanting to go out decent. It could even mean she wants him to answer: "how am I", "am I going to hell" "I'm scared", felt deep down and passed thru her "be cool" filter of how she acts., idrk
Joe Smith mike not a pawn he a king just playing as a pawn. And he had More heart than Marlo. He was basically calling Marlo a hoe like Why he ain’t step To omar
Weird to see Omar from this perspective, after watching the Omar supercut where he's the main character. Here he's just a background danger in Michael's life. Totally strange feeling.
Ok people are confused how Mike knew so here goes all the clues and shit he put together. Snoop told him not to bring his gun She said they were gonna hit Walter from Calhoun and Riggs so Mike goes there (lesson from Chris and Snoop arrive early, don't want them setting up on you while you setting up on them because There's no good surprises in this line of work) and he sees her not only talk to Walter but has him tell the 2 guys to go into the trap where she plans to kill Mike He gets in the car she says it's in the trap she'll give it to him when they get there.
Still having trouble understanding how he knew for sure but after your post & a rewatch .... I think what it was that made him sure was after she talks to Big Walter (not convinced from there) Walter talks to the two dudes who are obviously muscle and will be the hitters on Like. ( He's close to convinced ). Then Walter walks off & the two hitmen go inside the trap house on the corner that Mike and snoop are supposed to be going to to hit Walter. So no Walter .... Two hitmen hiding in the trap ... and Snoop telling Mike to come unarmed. There it is proof enough for Mike and us. Always get there early.
@@luvmenow33 also Mike asked her a question in the car to see her reaction. Usually she d get mad as always and not have to explain shit to him and tell him off but she explained things quite calmy considering its the last time shed see him so to her it didnt matter anymore. I think Mike caught on to that.
I love the attention to detail, the window breaking when she's shot. Except for the fact that im pretty sure mike would be blind and deaf for a good 5 minutes.
Bodie and Mike two of my favorite characters! Marlo was a fucking sicko cold as ice. Avon should of had more Stringer Bell in him. Prop Joe great business man that ran into Marlo the sicko.
4:52 Was the first time I seen what Mike saw by showing up to the spot early. He seen snoop giving dude some cash and then seen the other dude taking the board off of an abandon store. He knew that wasn’t for anybody else but him. Chris taught him too well to “Get There Early” it back fired on Ma Ma.
Michael lets Chris & Snoop know about Omar's recent actions and they get mad at him for saying everything that they'd usually run back and tell Marlo anyway. The contradiction of it all is that they all know the rules. There's no way you snitch and then end up back on the block. Police wanna keep you alive so you can testify later on in court for them. That's what Daniels was trying to do with Wallace in Season 1.
The smartest thing Marlo did was put them bodies in vacants. Had they been smart enough to put the old ass nails back in the boards them bodies would still be missing.
I feel like the “how my hair look” line was just her asking if she went too far and if it was no hard feelings. Micheal saying you look good girl was him saying he understands and it’s no hard feelings.
Shoutout to the dope acting when Mike was talking about Savino, how Snoop and Chris look at each other, they want Mike to stop talking about the shit. They already believe Mike was potentially a snitch and they didn’t want to talk
Running through this amazing series for the 1st time finally. I know Micheal becomes Omar and all of that. But since Omar had a code of never pulling on anyone not involved in the game is Micheals maybe not attacking anyone weak or considered good I guess you could say? His character is my favorite next to Omar and seeing how that unfolds is tragic but yet better a Omar than a Marlo I guess. Amazing video to whoever posted this.
I'd say that's accurate. He had problems going along with Chris and Snoop to kill someone - he felt they needed to deserve it. Like with Junebug and his family, Mike refuses to shoot the kid.
legendary51313 big Walter is nobody. legit just a bit player used in this scene only . Remember Chris told mike never be the last man to a job, be early, an hour sometimes 2 . so mike scoped out all day , after being shaded out that snoop mentioned he come without a strap. He sees that everyrhing is good with snoop and big Walter and that there sealed Snoops fate .
TAYLOR 'D plus Mike already questions the reasons behind his deeds. not that he's against it but it had to serve a purpose for him. he knew bruh ain't had shit to do wit it because Marlo's name was strong at the time on its own that people thought twice about speaking it. so when snoop told him who the hit was it was like "so now we droppin random niggaz? " that's what everybody loved about Mike: yea he's tough n strong but the main thing was that he had a mind of his own he ddnt just jump cuz u said so which is very much undervalued in society period. and it was his OWN mind that saved his ass
Michael never got the hint all those questions he was asking was going to eventually get him wacked. The least you know the better. Need to know basis in that line of work.
Snoop went out like a soldier tho. Gotta give her respect for that. She didn't bitch or plead and stood by her own principals. One less G in the hood lol
Chris and snoop was furious in that scene. It’s like when one teams offense keeps scoring and it’s only one man. The D knows it looks weak and Defense is about fear
“If he woulda made me from monk’s apartment the other night…” I like how he says that almost immediately after Omar goes around the corner as if it wasn’t possible that Omar might come back and hear him saying that.
