Any reason why you decided to screw down the battens rather than nail them? It's much quicker to nail them. One tip for you when spacing and fixing your battens. Cut two spacers from bits of batten to suit your gauge. Very handy when your on your own plus saves you having to measure 👍 🔨 🇮🇪
