I hope that kid's mom sees this and knows she raised a good son. He looked so uncomfortable but still stopped despite being a kid because he knew that man's behavior was wrong. And hat's off to that woman who said she was scared but still helped. I always hope I would be brave enough to intervene, but it's not about being brave it's just being willing to stand with someone in the fray!

It reminds me of the time when I had a huge fight with my bf and I had depression at that time too, so I wanted to jump out the building. I was a foreign student in China. My apt was too low so I had chosen the higher floor open balcony. And maybe because I was crying too loud or maybe she was coming to her apt, the old lady came to me and asked me what happened. I wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone but she was persistent. She invited me to her house and I told her everything I could in my broken Chinese, and she gave me tea and we were sitting in her living room on that couch and she was hugging me like my grandma. She made sure my roommate came back and spent a day with me, a stranger in her house, giving me some supportive advices, although she had to simplify her thoughts because I’m a foreigner and didn’t speak well. I brought her cake late, but hope she is doing well. I don’t even know her name
This was done in the open where people can see and interfere. Sadly, this is not the normal case as most cases are done in the office. I myself have been molested by a ex-colleague and sexually harassed by my ex-boss. Its really very frightening then and spiralled me into brief spell of depression. (Doing fine now)

TikTok... Oh god.. that was like one of the worst social media platforms.. The problem with East Asian men.. Culture differences. Especially Japan where there's very much gender inequality, women are expected to give up working and become housewives. You are to be quiet, submissive, even meek would be a good word. Not many Asian men like stronger women, you also preferably must be slim (Average Chinese woman weighs 40kg and they consider themselves fat) they like beautiful women too. From my experiences with them.. I have been completely off, I haven't had any Chinese men but Japanese and Korean from my experiences aren't faithful. They also aren't known to show their affections (again mostly Japanese) they do not say "I love you" and they probably won't hug you either.
