Thats the first assumption cause she looks like she could be married and she didnt say no. Plus most the time it is. Parents wouldn't beat u like that. Esp not at that age and if it was a stranger she'd go to the police right away and report it

@@swaroop2518 true not only women face these severe violence but also to men, some men don't even speak about it cause they'll be embarrassed and scared to talk about it. The world's a scary place to begin with, if you're a man or a woman never ever hit another person or do such things, these apply to both men and women so always be careful and call the police if you experience these type of horrible acts.

My ex boyfriend he use to beat me up kick me up and use to take all my money for his use... whenever I wanted a breakup he use to blackmail me. Those days were nightmare and still I couldn't sleep because of what happened. 🙁

My mother is a victim of physical and psychological violence, as a daughter I have also suffered a lot from this ... there is nothing worse than for a child to grow up in such an environment ... as a result, I go to the psychologist and psychiatrist for the traumas I have but we're still fine ... my mother is very brave and now she's better. peace is more valuable than gold. love yourself and love others.

@rhea waterfall when my daughter got married, I had a "talk" with my son in law and warned him I'd break his neck if he ever did anything like this. fortunately, he's a really good guy and treats her well.
I personally intend, if I have sons in the future, to teach them to respect women, and this will start from home. I won't allow my boys to hit their sisters or vice versa, just like my mother did, she always got angry whether I hit my brother or he hit me, and she told us to not hit each other whatever happened. I also intend on telling my boys that even if they're big and feel strong physically, doesn't mean they get to abuse whoever is smaller and weaker, man or woman. Lastly, I'll teach all my kids that anger and frustration are normal and that it's okay to be angry, and that if you get angry, you have tl find a healthy way of letting the angry out. Not by hurting anyone or yourself. I'll teach them to never do things on the impulse of anger and to manage the anger and always keep some rational thinking even when you're boiling with anger.

@@MunkeeFWRrng If you read my comment, you'd know I intend to teach all my children these things. Also, the things you're supposed to teach your sons aren't exactly the same you have to teach your daughter. Boys, when they reach puberty, start growing up quickly, possibly becoming taller than their older sister, their mother... Etc. They become very proud and feel like they're the strongest ever and that's why they can turn abusive physically (and I'm not just talking, I've seen this with my eyes). Girls, on another hand, it's a different story. We women generally don't like confrontation and fighting. That's probably the reason why we let anger build up and instead of telling each other "stop doing this, it annoys me", we keep bottling it all up and growing an ill feeling towards them, until one day, we explode. That's why I had endless fights with my sister about things that had happened years ago. That's why I almost lost my girl best friend because I kept a lot of things she said that hurt me and didn't tell her. So women, generally won't turn to something as direct as slapping their partner or kicking him especially if he's physically stronger which is probable. Instead, they'll scheme and use more "slick" methods. That's when we get into emotional and physiological abuse. Not saying men can't emotionally and psychologically abuse or women can't physically abuse. But you gotta pick what you're gonna focus on in your child's education. There's not time to go over every point, and you should mainly raise a good human, with values and compassion, making them ready to face the world and face their inner demons. Just give them the weapon and let them evolve alone.

My heart breaks for anyone who goes through this. I don’t know how someone can do this to anyone. If you are in this situation, please try to get help. Go to a friend’s house, or to a family member’s house. And know that people care about you. I care about you. Also Kaixin is such a good actress. Always makes me feel 💯. Thank you to all the people who helped her, and I admire anyone who has gone through this. You are stronger than I could imagine. That woman who helped her that went through this with her father... I’m glad she is okay.

This really almost brought me to tears.. the amount of times where people were there for the victim really made my heart shatter into pieces, it was so heartwarming and emotional..
The fact that one of the older women instinctively looked down when Kai answered "some parts" broke my heart. She was too aware that if it was domestic violence, other terrible things could be happening as well.
I love how that one women said "my parents never beat me, so who are you to beat me?" Like literally that's what my mom always tell me. Like if someone slaps me, I should slap them back(or punch them according to my brothers) and tell them how dare they hit me when my family never hit me ones.
My mother beat me, and studies have shown kids that grow up abused and more likely to be with a partner that also abuses them... which has also happened.
The thing is domestics violence is not just bad for the victim but if there is child in the home he/she is gonna feel lonely and certainly gonna devlop hate within themself for the world.. I can say that cause i am going through it from long time.. Just remember to not put child in between your fights and issues....
The problem is most women who suffer from abuse don't leave their husbands because they think it will affect the children,when it is actually much worse for the children to keep living in that toxic environnement..speaking from experience,daughters who grow up with abusive fathers tend to have trust issues or worse they tend to accept the same treatment from their own future spouses,and for sons too they sometimes grow up to think abuse is normal,and that they can do it in their relationships too and expect their partners to stay with them.
It feels like they recognised the pain they had experienced in their lifetime, when they saw her. And I'm just thinking of what these older women must lived through and seen that gave them all this compassion and empathy.

Well in a lot of families nowadays in China the woman is the "boss" of the family, the one who makes all of the decisions and controls the money. That's why they said that, because they want her to know that she has to become strong to be the head of the family and so people can't bully her. The woman in Dongbei North China are as an example known to be stonger than men.
@John Smith They meant "stronger" in an emotional, symbolic way, not a physical one. They did not claim that the women there are physically stronger than men. Also, I am sorry you have encountered women who feel that domestic violence is acceptable when the victims are male. Please know that there are many women, including myself, who find domestic violence abhorrent regardless of who the victim is. (In fact, I wrote an article for my university newspaper a few years back on this very subject.) It is true that male victims have a much harder time getting support due to absurd cultural conceptions. Often, both women and men turn a blind eye to male victims. If you know people who dismiss male victims, I would not associate with them. They sound awfully toxic to me.

And just because women can't build up as much muscle mass as men, doesn't mean they can't be physically strong at all. This one broke my heart ,my best friends husband beat her daily,she hid it for a long time .when we found out we tried so much to help her, she couldn't break his hold on her. Sadly he went on and murdered her three young children and himself. Please seek help if you are in this situation, do not listen to them when they say they promise they will never do it again, it always happens again and dont hide it ,while you continue to hide it ,it keeps them in controll.😥😥😢😢😭😭😭
Not beating your partners is the bare minimum expected of a human being. People should stop saying "I want someone who doesn't beat me...". The bar is literally on the ground. If someone raises their hands against their partner that just means they're not human anymore.
hm... I think they are plenty human. Only humans beat their spouse when their ego is bruised. Cruelty is human, all the no good stuff like pedophilia etc, is human. Saying people are not human when they commit horrible things is denying that the horrible things they commit is because they are human. We should face responsibility, humanity is not only the good things like generosity and kindness. Humanity is also horrible.
I've seen people through mental illness out there as well when people do bad things, when studies have shown majority of crimes are committed by the mentally sane.

The fact that all of them guessed it was her husband before she told them really says something.....This shouldn’t even be a problem in this world!! You shouldn’t see someone injured and the first thing you think of is their partner hurting them.

Everyone guessed husband. It's sad reality that women are beaten up by someone they give themselves to. And women cannot muster up courage thinking he will change one day .no girl he won't change. Sue him right away :(
It's just sad that this is often overlooked. And with all honesty, victims don't go out much because of the bruises and/or isn't allowed, also not carrying much with them (such as phones or identifications) they also don't talk to other people for the fear that their violent partner is looking/hiding somewhere. But it's nice to see that most elderly women are protective and would give advice.
as a person who was in a abusive relationship for over than a year, I was able to find strength in me after a while. I wish every woman and man the bravery in their hearts to love themselves more than anything in the world!
Unfortunately in some cases if the woman (or man) leaves, the husband/wife will find them and kill them. Leaving isn't always as easy as walking out the door.
I think they only asked women for help otherwise some people on the streets may think it’s that man who hit her and that can cause an uproar (think random people taking pictures on the street). Or this issue is usually spoke with other women rather than men especially when it comes to strangers.
@@swaroop2518 It is indeed something that is happening again and again as well. If TreeMan does this social experiment, I am quite sure it will be the same - no one will come and save him. It is especially risky if the one harassing or beating him is a woman, as you may end up being accused of hitting a woman.
I really appreciate this video. My mom was a victim of domestic violence as well as physical and verbal abuse for at least 5 years, since I was 5 years old and since before my brother was born. We never spoke about it to many people because my brother’s father would threaten and forbid us. My mom also wanted us to at least have some kind of fatherly figure in the home, but he was the exact opposite of what a good father is. It was bad to hold it all in and it took a toll on all of us. It really hurt, but we’re doing a bit better now. I’m 14 years old and my brother is 9 years old. He still pops up every weekend to either harass us at our front door or sometimes he used to follow us from school, which my brother and I walk home alone. Or he’ll harass my mother with emails and notes. The memories are still there, and I wouldn’t wish it on anyone. It really isn’t a good thing to experience. Thank you for this video.

When i was working as a seller in a bakery, i saw a really pretty and tall Young women with a baby come once to the store. I remenbered her because she was so sweet and pretty with a newborn baby. She came again month later and obviously had been in a fight or beat up. I remenber she even had finger prints on her neck and wasn't smiling. But she was still with her little baby that looked fine that she was kissing. I didn't know what to do in the moment since she stayed only for a min to get one thing so all i could do was offering her stuff and being nice to her. I was really Young and it was my first job, and talking to my boss about it later and my coworker they didnt care at all and barely listened. It' s been years and i can't forget about it and wished i offered her help directly. I was scared that she might tell me its none of my buisness. I promissed myself i'll never hesitate again if that happens. Even if you are scared to be pushed away please just ask them if they want to talk or need help. Dont be stupid like me
You are not stupid, you were just young. You cared for that person and were worried for her, which shows how kind and caring you are. Don't be too hard with yourself. I hope this women got the help she needed and regained safety with her baby.

Thank you so much for including the clips of the women who acknowledged (most from personal experience) that it is not easy to leave an abusive spouse or partner. I saw a lot of the women quickly say “why are you with him” or “you should leave him” but in reality so many victims of domestic abuse aren’t able to leave their partners. It’s not easy at all, and I’m glad there are people out there who realized that and were still willing to be helpful and sympathetic.
before you getting married, you should *really know* your partner at first. look at how s/he getting mad, are they will hurt you or not. if they do, you better leave them. No matter how long is your relationship, you better leave it if it's toxic. stay safe everyone ♡

I always tell my little sister this : *"If a man hits you, don't give him a second chance. Get help, no matter how."* I know it is haesh of me to say this, but when a man hits you, he will do ot again, and again... Even if it may be a little hit, or a big one,it will happen again. All the women that have been abused that i know either just live their lives like nothing happened, either are too afraid. I know a boy friend who'se mom was hut ONLY ONCE by his dad and they are divorcing now. Take a good listen girls, just leave them alone. No matter what, a hit doesnt mean love.
