Fender Kurt Cobain signature series Jaguar electric guitar was brought to me by the owner because the fret ends were sharp and because it was new, he wanted me to give it a good look over. I checked the setup and made some minor adjustments but I did discover a mysterious buzzing on the B string. After a little detective work, I discovered and fixed the problem. All is good now and the guitar is pretty cool. Enjoy the video!

I’m pretty sure the rhythm selector switch puts the small wheel tone knob and chrome tone knob in series so both tone knobs work.

Thanks for another interesting video. My G string on my AO 60s Jazzmaster has recently started buzzing and I fixed it just as you did the B. I’m interested in your pickup height gauges. Looks self made?

Looks like just a regular rhythm circuit like what you’d find in a normal Jaguar or Jazzmaster. It just runs the neck pickup through a different set of pots which have a much lower resistance giving it a darker tone. I’m more confused why they bothered making a hole under the pickup selector if they weren’t going to put a switch there.

The top switch and wheels are the same on the jazzmaster. When the switch is up only the neck pickup is on, with volume and tone controlled by the wheels. The three way pickup selector and main volume/tone knobs are all bypassed. Great looking guitar, always wanted one. Right now I have a jazzmaster and jag-stang.

Good evening! I Have encountered problems with the volume of the bridge. With the selector in bridge, the volume is closed, but the volume goes down but not completely!Thanks
