FERN x STARK SHIP IS SAILING!!! 😍 Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Episode 15 Reaction! 

We're back! Time to catch up! What a great episode to come back to!

I just realized that Freiren has fallen into Himmel's shoes. Remember how we keep getting flashbacks to when Himmel will spend so much time trying to get the perfect pose for his sculptures. Now, Freiren is doing it by taking so long to pick a book, while her party is waiting for her, just like when the hero party waited for Himmel in the past. I think that was why Freiren smiled at that scene she saw with Fern, Stark and Sein waiting for her. I had been wondering what that smile was for, finally I get it ^_^

Though Fern says she's been traveling with Frieren for four years, she's been learning magic from her for eight or almost nine years at this point if you count the years they spent at Heiter's place when he tricked her into translating the spellbook.

i haven't seen anyone say it yet but i love the detail of how you can see Frieren's spell reflecting in Sein's eyes showing that before he could even finish his sentence she was already casting.

I don't care what anybody says Frieren has had the best animation all year it's crazy how smooth it's been throughout the ENTIRE show

18:48 On tonight's episode of "Dancing with the Starks" The Stark-Fern ship should be named "Stern" based on how strong this ship is.

10:27 I think Freiren's attack spell has homing ability in that she only needs to keep her eyes tracked on the target, shoot her spell in any direction and it will make its way to the target.

I definitely believe this is the point where Fern begins to notice Stark as a man. Maybe not exactly start falling for him but seeing the mature man he can be. I also believe she will be the first to have feelings and then Stark will later catch on and reciprocate her feelings in the future. These two are just so darn adorable. I am shipping them for sure! 🫶

I really enjoy your reactions because they're very similar to my own. It's neither understated nor overblown like some other reactors and overall is just very enjoyable.

As far as kinds of magic in general there are three types: Humanity's magic: This mainly comes from the elves and it was Flamme who convinced the Empire (humanity's largest kingdom at the time) to start researching it instead of hunting down humans who practiced it for being witches and hethens. Goddess's magic: Magic used by priests with the use of the scriptures. The power of a priest seems to be natural 'talent' rather than knowledge and practice as with mages. Demon's magic: Since demons are magical creatures (they disperse into mana particles when killed) they have an innate knowledge of magic. For some it is a natural ability (such as the demon plant here) or created and researched over time. Demon's magic can be deciphered and incorporated into humanity's magic but takes work (an example is 'Zoultraak' and 'flight', 'flight' has been deciphered enough to be used but not much more where 'Zoultraak' was explored in depth so it could be incorporated in many ways such as defense and enchantments).

yea they got a school of dancing to do the choreography for them!! but surprisingly, there's no cg there, MYOUN (the KA) shared the key animation in their twitter, they're just that good.

fun fact: the dance is a single zoomed out panel in the manga.

So, the dance scene was not rotoscoped, and no cgi was used for the scene either. The animator who did the scene apparently took dance classes for reference too. It was all 2d. I just think the animation looks so good that the scenes look three dimensional. There's a scene like this in JJK s2e05 where we see geto give his speech to the cult and his movements were so smooth people thought it was cgi but yeah it was all 2d. Incredible work from the staff because this scene in the manga is like a single zoomed out panel of fern and stark dancing

😂 in my mind when i saw the dance... Studio: we dont have the budget and time to think a choreography for the dance so might skip it. Animators: we will work for free for this part and already research for a good dance motion... I really love the dance between these two...

Half way there already? Well, a 10 uear round trip, takes 5 years to get to your destination, halfway would be like 2.5 years, they picked stark up a year earlier, they had been on the road for 3 years before that, pretty sure 4 years being. The half way point is pretty good timing. Granted the return trip likely won't take nearly as long.

The ship was out of port, now it’s out to sea, only time will tell if it will make port or sink along the way. 😁

The roles are totally different! The voice actor for Eisen, Yōji Ueda, played the role of Ōetsu Nimaiya (the creator of Zanpakutō), and it is wonderful to hear a voice actor who changes his voice so drastically to fit the role.
