I'm happy for Ohtani. I genuinely like him and he is an amazing player. But are reporters from different orgs also asking this? I just don't see the point.
@@jonbnc7Are you looking? Everyone everywhere is asking their players and talking about it. Something that has never been done EVER happened. I know you love the Padres but this goes beyond that. You gotta love baseball too.
I was thinking the same thing bro. But on a bright side it shows the maturity of fernando and how padres players feel about dodger players, they won't give us that love smh
I hate when they do this type of thing. I remembered last year when Soto got a key hit they were like "so what do you think of what Acuna Jr did?" I was like "dude...we won. Shouldn't that matter more?"
The problem with Tatis other than staying healthy is that they've toned down his aggressiveness with stealing in favor of trying to keep him healthy and on the field for most of his career. He's only tried 13 steal attempts in 95 games this year, 1 attempt per 7 games. That's just not enough. in 2021 he attempted 29 steals in 130 games (1 every 4.5 games) If he wants to reach 40-40 they need to take the reigns off him.
I know it's all a part of reporting and journalism, but it's gotta be annoying as hell to have Reporters come at you at your locker, and just ask questions about OTHER players. Plus the fact that Reporter's questions are always so obvious, and really, stupid; of course the Player is going to answer positively about other players and teammates. Next question "So, what do you think of your mom and dad giving birth to you?" Yea, lemme go to college to be a Journalist, so I can interview Superstars and then I can ask them mundane questions
Tommy John surgery only effects pitching, not batting. With pitching the only leverage is with the baseball, with batting there is the bat, both arms, and the body.
He hit 42 homeruns in 2021( his only season he hit 40+ hrs ) and then was suspended the following year for PEDs. Since then, he's hit 25 and 20 hrs. He's not going to hit 50-50 clean. And he's not going to the HOF as a PED user.
