I needed a diamond blade for a blue board (cement sheet cladding) job that I had to do. All you need to do is to watch it in action!

That sure beats the snot out of my solution! Good old 5 inch grinder with a diamond blade. Dust mask, face shield, long sleeves and lots of cursing. Your way probably cuts straight too ;)

I usually score and snap plaster boards but I guess it could be a solution for some detailed cuts. Thanks for watching!

There are stone cutting blades available but they will need to be dry diamond style with the diamond on the side of the blade, not a blade that also has teeth.

Hey Dave !! Great vid !! I have to cut a heap of 10 CFC for a facade of a commercial building. I have a festool plunge saw and tracks I use for alucabond. Is it just a matter of getting a diamond tip blade for the same saw ??

Should be good to go. I used a cyclone to spin the dust out of the airstream before it reached my dust extractor.

Can this blade cut granite ? I cut granite with my ts55 and it went great. I used a blade from the US that fit ts55 and cost 16 $

+Fredrik Engdahl Not recommended for granite. It is designed for cement sheet and efficient dust and product removal as well as long life.

I have to ask as well, I'm in the US and looking for a blade for my TS75 to cut granite counters anyone know what blade I need for this can't seem to find a diamond blade for my saw.

I did realize that...watched a few of your videos love them by the way. I did watch another that was using a ts55 to cut granite but it didn't say with what blade.

Afraid not. Here is a cut and paste from Festool's web site in Australia, "Special application saw blade for fibre cement sheet products and compressed concrete sheet up to 15mm."

I don't know if I'd use the ts 55 to cut cement board.

+David Stanton no hesitation. I've cut a lot of hardi board but I always used a cheap saw to do the job that's all.

Thank you David for the reply. One more question, I know there is a different thickness between HK and TS blades but can I use the TS blades on the HK saw like the 28, 48 or even the 52 tooth blades. Keep up the great video, thank you again!!

Yes Marco, but not the other way around. The blades in the HK are 1.8 mm as opposed to the TS which are 2.2 mm
