the real code for the boiler room is ↑ RT ← jump → LT ↓ RT you can piece it together with first person mode, the pictures each are shown around the room and have numbers to tell which order they go in.
I figured the tetris blocks are the code but I didn't know that they have special order. I was going left to right. Also I didn't know there's a "fpp" to unlock.
In the family house - theres a picture on one of the walls with nine children - each child has a fez on the RIGHT (R2/RT) or LEFT (L2/LT) sides of their head - thats how you know how to input the combination - very clever
This video might blow up again just because everyone on PC is getting the game for free on the Epic Games Store. Played this back in 2015 and replaying it now.
Nice! thanks, that helped me alot how understand the puzzle mecanics of the game. I really wouldn't mind if you keep doing the other areas secrets too... thanks man =D
The boiler room code is conami code + tetronimo code. The tetris blocks indicate which button to press and the smaller marking on each tetris poster indicates the order you need to press them in.
In the boiler room, there are pictures of tetrominos (tetris pieces) on the wall. They're also numbered using the game's numbering system, which can be decoded elsewhere. Every tetromino corresponds to a controller input. You have to input these controller inputs in the order specified by the numbers to get the cube.
2 things: First, in regards to Andrew Jones' comment, the code worked for me in the PC version. Second, u don't have to leave the room and come back to try again, just wait a second and try again. It worked for me (in the PC version, at least).
Hi, I have a question that I hope you can clear up. It's been causing resets for way to long. The odd time when I go into the 4 cube tetromino room (in the bell tower segment) it's already solved and turns into an anti cube immediately. I play on the latest version on ps4 (I know my runs aren't valid but I'm doing them for fun) and I keep resetting when it happens because it seems to be rng and I've never seen it before. Please help!!!
Well I dont understand whetre or how you got these codes. can you explain? did you find some artifact that had the code written on it? or is there a way to figure this yourself?
(For those who don't know the game has symbols for all the controls as well as numbers 0-9, its FEZs language. Upon deciphering the puzzle and pressing the controls in the right sequence you get a cube. Google it. :) )
+AaronMetallion can you please explain all the symbols I keep looking up videos and none are really that well explained so can you please explain it or at least link a video that does explain it throughly
don't mind using the internet for some help, but how the hell can you read the walls in order to come up with the sequence for the anti cube? Sorry if it's a stupid question, but I just watched another one of your videos' & I stared @ the walls for a while & couldn't figure out for the life of me how you figured it out. Thanks,
In order to understand the notes on the wall, you need to progress much further in the game and learn two things: 1) the tetris code. Each tetris symbol represents a control button. They can be learned quite easily in one of the anti-cube rooms of the library/observatory section. 2) the number symbols. This is a very complicated puzzle with many clues throughout the game. The classroom in the Zu village (the ancient village, not the one where you start) is the most helpful, but 4 symbols on 4 maps similar to one found in this room, and 8 symbols on the wall nothes of this room can help as well. It is also advised to finish the game at least once in order to get the special feature that allows to have a good look on this room, and on many other areas of the game too. It is possible to notice everything you need without it, but after starting a "new game +" it is a bit easier. Aside from this, there is also an alphabet, which also has to be learned if you want to find all secrets of the game with as little cheating as possible. It can be learned in the room where "the quick brown fox jumps over the lazy dog". The author of this video most likely cheated and just looked up all three symbol sets on the internet. Or worse - didn't even bother with symbols and looked up the code solutions for particular rooms. He also confuses the world map with the treasure maps. It depends on you whether you treat this game as a simple platformer or as a complex multi-layered puzzle mindfuck with lots and lots of easter eggs and things that don't make any sense the first time you see them. But this is why the game is good - it appeals to both casual and hardcore gamers.
i looked up a translation for the game, from there you can see the numbers, then you just count down which one goes first second and third. that's how i did it anyway :v
That other code was really good hided.. Look what ways are fez hats on picture.. And on other room you must start solving that when you see skull painting.. Sorry im bad to explain.. But then you must to try what is right
Cho Da That's a different code (RT RT LT RT LT LT LT RT). We're asking about the "any room" code. That makes 2 codes that don't have hints in the game. One from the achievement name, and the other from the developer for the black obelisk room.
not exactly. you may just get tired with trying to solve the puzzle, and you'd like to know how it should be solved, instead of just getting the reward.
@@ricomaudhoo5632 4:17 3rd anti cube for PC: →, ←, ↑,↓ are direction keys on keyboard Up ↑ D Left ← Space Right → A Down ↓ D NOTE: I wrote these after I tried in the game. I got the 3rd anti cube. I'm not %100 sure if I wrote true here. But it worth to try. :D
There is a special language in the game that help you figure out the codes. You can read all about it at the wiki: www.ign.com/wikis/fez/Code_Solutions
Do NONE of you read anything before posting? Nowhere in this video does he EVER mention the word "walkthrough"...in fact, his description is EXACTLY what he shows you: "All of the hidden cubes and secrets in the first area of the game" What does he show us? All of the hidden cubes and secrets in the first area of the game. If you wanna know WHERE or HOW the codes came from, find a different video or figure it out yourself..As for the OP, GREAT VIDEO and keep it up; all content, no fluff.
I hate walkthroughs that just show codes without explaining why. How about mentioning that the picture of all the fez's on the wall show the answer? The side of the "fez" on each character shows what direction to turn.
