FFXIV ARR: Binding Coil of Bahamut Turn 13 Guide (Final Coil - Turn 4)

This video is like 50% shorter than your T9 video...this is very reassuring.

Tried T13 for the first time with my static yesterday. As a paladin I used these first tries to experiment a bit with my cooldowns. Buffing myself with Stoneskin + another Cooldown right before Flatten works great for me in the first two phases. While I'm buffing myself our WHM got some time to start casting a bigger healspell to restore my HP right after Flatten before the Flame Breath. This gets harder later on while more mechanics need the healers attention, but at the same time I've got more cooldowns left to mitigate the harder hits and am more flexible this way. With my current i130 gear I've got a massive amount of parry and to me it seems like almost all auto-attacks and most of the Flatten attacks are blocked or at least parried. I'm willing to change to a more dps-themed gear if it helps to skip a second Death Sentence or the fifth Akh Morn, but I think it's not necessary with Echobuff and an overgeared group. Just testing for the first tries while learning. Another suggestion was to temporarily change to Sword Oath to boost my dps for a few rotations and change back to Shield Oath depending on Bahamuts rotation. This means a + 50 potency on auto-attacks plus the additional 20% of Damage not being reduced and therefore a great boost in tank-dps. Don't know yet if I should try this, because it means a larger burden on the healers plus my enmity generation is halfed while on Sword Oath. Still need to get my hands on proper crafted and slotted gear for this gamble. Any tips?

If you put subtitles on, it replaces the word "Bahamut" with Obama. Its hilarious! Your tank will need a stoneskin and a cooldown to survive Obama's Flatten. Obama will cast Megaflare in 3 circles around the room...

Gah, I haven't played this game in very long time. It's bonkers how complicated the big boss fights have become. I'll leave you guys to it. ;)

this honestly looks less threating than T9, T9 is full of one shot mechinics which one person can screw up, this just looks like it hits like a truck.

Hey Mr Happy, why don't you guys stack the first two Sins of Meracydia when they spawn so AOE damage can be applied? As far as I know, they don't need to be tanked apart, right?

Hello, question. I am off tanking in this raid and with the shadow adds everytime they spawn I use overpower and heavy swing but they still go straight to the whm. No one which combo I do they go straight to him even when I provoke its only after his gone over there to wack him I get them back.

Yeah... this is too much for me. Can't make it through T9 as it is @__@

This isn't really much of a spoiler in my opinion. If it WASN'T them, I would have been really surprised and spoiled.
