Already said it on twitter but I'll say it here, congratulations on the kill guys. It'll be a while before I tackle this myself I imagine, but I do look forward to it. Your guys' guides have always been helpful and got myself and a previous static through Second Coil pretty efficiently so thank you for that. Looking forward to your work in 3.0 and hoping maybe we could get some filler content from you guys soon as well!

Great job with the video Mizzteq, and congratz again on your group's clear. One thing I would like to add is in the final phase you will only get two towers if two people get rings. If three or four people get rings you will only get one tower.

when you're dodging divebombs, you can put the group stacking on the right of bahamut to make him dive out of the circle. this way you only need to look at the other half the circle to know how to dodge the next dive. Plan to run either west or south and run as soon as you see which is clear (if bahamut is north, otherwise it's just run to the opposite side of bahamut or away from bahamut) a mirrored version of this (left/right swap) works just as well.

I only have a couple of friends who play this game and we can't get past Twintania. I watched this out of curiosity and i'm laughing by myself at how ridiculous it is. AND BAHAMUT SUMMONS TWINTANIA. AND DIVE BOMBS. I'm going to have ptsd when i'm done with this, i swear to god

Luca Portela Fun fact, Divebombs are easier to deal with in T13 than they are in T5.

Nesaru Problem isnt dodging the DB but the overlapping splash dmg from MF that comes with it.So that makes it a bit harder than t5 DB although nowhere near as hard as t9 DB mechanic.

VFsozos I guess, but our static hasn't had that problem at all recently. For me, due to latency, T5 DB's will always be the hardest. T9 DB's were a little easier to deal with (if Waymarks are down) and after making myself move the second the Green marker appears and rotating my camera to where I'm not going, T13's became the easiest DB's for me. Even with the Megaflare.

Gotta say, this is much easier to learn than T9 (as a fully fresh group). A lot of the comments sound intimidated, but if you can make it this far you can absolutely pull this off. The only major crux is having enough HP to survive the ridiculous amounts of unavoidable damage.

When it comes to healing, I noticed the scholar was using selene, so my question is when beha is casting gigaflare is the whm healing the group all the way up? Because I know scho without Eos cant heal much.

Hi! I'm wondering about the holmgang on Akh morn #2. Most groups have the paladin Cover the warrior while he is holmganged - I understand this is to prevent the warrior dying to an autoattack after holmgang runs out. What I don't understand is why this doesn't transfer the akh morn's damage to the paladin, killing him/her instead.

Darren Felton Flare Breath used on a Warrior with Holmgang active will do that. It's also because it is a particularly heal intensive fight throughout.

WAR's Holmgang binds you in position and also makes your HP to never go below 1 for 5 seconds.

Just wanted to pipe in saying video is still broken at 10 minutes. It seems to work fine on the RU-vid Android app so I was able to watch it all there. Maybe it needs re-uploaded as I've never seen this happen before.

Are you a Paladin, Warrior or Gladiator? Im fairly new, I just picked this game up after about taking a year off for school. Im a glad right now but wanting to pick a solid tank!

Whitney Travis A Paladin is a Gladiator. If you're looking to become a Paladin, you'll also need to be a Lvl 15 Conjurer with the same character. They do make solid tanks once you learn them.

Daniel Spivey Alright, thank you! I played WoW for 7-8 years but I need to read more on the classes in ff14. Can you just stay Gladiator? Is that an option?

Whitney Travis While you can stay as a Gladiator, it's not gonna be something anyone recommends, not if you're the raiding/dungeon type. Paladin skills are what make them the effective tanks they are. By the way, majority of the Classes in this game, if you want their respective Jobs, require you to be lvl 15 in a specific second class. I think Monk is the only one that doesn't require a 2nd class to get.

edward corbett Generally a lot better than Duty Finder. At least once you've progressed to a certain phase consistently, you can set your PF to phase progression to where you're comfortable. People in PF will also often be more willing to help and use voice comms.

so hard to get people to help new players on this i cant even get a static party or any help on this coil and only crys are gil sellers selling coils for 50 million its sad anymore this game.

madhatterclub666 Your server size may have something to do with it. On smaller servers, there are considerably fewer players, and a proportionally smaller number of raiders. Sometimes with smaller proportions to large servers, since most players that run high-end raid content tend to gravitate towards larger servers, and those raiders who have been raiding since 2.0 tend to stick together for statics. On a night (or day, schedule permitting) try setting up a coil learning party in Party Finder, or make a "Coil Learning" linkshell. Shout out in Mor Dhona and major cities inviting people who want to progress through the coils. It takes effort, and patience, but I'm sure you can progress. :)
