Just did LB 4 in F/GO NA. This reminds me of Bedivere but now....thousands of years ....to fulfill one mission and a promise. So, “Even shut-ins are allowed to see the sky”. Go for it, fellow masters of NA.
"I have stopped counting--- forever ago." "He knew all along... The two people waiting inside here...are both liars." "Even shut-ins are allowed to see the sky."
“Even shut-ins... deserve to see the sky.” A promise held to for uncounted millennia, out of nothing but pure faith in words once spoken. Absolute trust, that that person would never, _ever_ tell her a lie. Pushing forth, past the furthest of the furthest limits, because she _knew_ she would see him again. Jinako Carigiri, words are insufficient to express the feelings and tears you brought me. So I can only say “Well done.”
honestly despite the great showing by everyone else it was Jinako I felt was deserving of the mvp award for this Lostbelt. I can only imagine just how much courage she needed to do what she did.
Damn dude, and after all those years she still hung on thanks to that promise with Karna. It helped her from being totally mentally broken down. Couple that with this song, I can't help but cry.
@@wencyvirpoin6643 Definitely. And there were a few scenes that hit harder then i could imagine. Her refusal to give up on her self worth, not just because of Karna, but because of what Gatou taught her before he was gone in CCC.... ...and that scene where Karna arrives he said the words: "I can tell you've grown since we last met. Your face is now as full of life as a beautiful spring flower" That. Those exact words. It wasn't just him coming back, but those exact words. It broke me, and I know why her tears of joy were overflowing. The very last scene of Jinako and Karna in CCC, Karna said he believed without question that the seed of her life was precious, even if she herself felt the seed of her life had never bloomed and been squandered, he believed in her and in that potential and worth of the seed of her life. So when Karna returned after Jinako overcame that impossible trial, and said her face was full of life like a beautiful spring flower....she knew exactly what he meant. She knew she had come into her own, had fully overcome herself, and could finally love herself again after so long.
@@Thegodofflies What did she do btw? I don't mind the spoilers. I really want to know what she did because I heard she almost went insane trying to save the Lostbelt.

Even if It's meaningless I want to say a thing to you. I always loved this ost from the original Vn. Than I recived a Spoiler and knew about this Fgo version. Even If I didn't knew in what scenes I was about to hear this, I still listened this for hours. When I finally reached Lb 4, I listened this for the first time in the game and at It's end I returned here and found Your comment. I was dying out of curiosity in what scene I might find this and then... lb 5.2 arrived... I don't know who you are, and I don't even know If you'll ever read this but I'll say it anyway... I FUCKING NOTICED BRO, THAT HIT HARD AS A TRUCK
This hits hard after Olympus... Hard battles and plenty of sad goodbyes... Bye our friends from God Destroyer Allience. Bye Kirsch, the man who sacrificed everything for a better future for everyone
She was a coward in the Moon Holy Grail War because she was trying to survive on her own. But when the time come, when everyone is counting on her, Jinako Carigiri demonstrated an incredible mental endurance. Because she isn't alone anymore Because someone trusts her And she trusts them.
It really says something that the two closes servants to match Jinako’s unique role in the Lostbelts is Sitonai and Mash and even they are homunculi. Everyone else has the mind of a ‘heroic spirit’ or God in someway or form(Muramasa, Jason, Astraea, Skadi, Lakshimibai, etc). Jinako is the only person whose mentality could be considered ‘normal’. And it shows, her ‘important moment’ doesn’t take place like the ‘sparking hope(Napoleon, Spartacus, ect)’ and/or ‘giving the protag the possibility to win/preventing them from losing(Avicebron, Mandricardo, Nezha, Jing Ke, Karna, ect)’ and/or ‘defeating an enemy(Orion, Ascepelius, etc)’ scenes. While it is technically the same, it’s still unique. The two ‘normal types’ are ‘epic scene(Spartacus, Avicebron, Charlotte, William Tell, etc)’ or ‘ revealed later that it saved everyone(Nezha, Jason, etc)’. However Jinako’s Scene isn’t epic, we literally see her undergoing a mental breakdown(appropriate considering her time waited is at least 5000 years[older than a certain godly war] and possibly over 4 million years[possibly lasted a whole yuga cycle]) which fits her ‘normal’ aesthetic. Her existence is a contrast of God Arjuna who is someone who ‘opposes’ Karna and is a ‘Perfect God’ that broke down in the end due of paradox in his personality(which exists because of Karna). Jinako is someone who ‘supports’ Karna and is a ‘NEET/“worthless” human’ who outlasted everything including God due to her determination and a promise(which exists because of Karna). TL;DR Jinako best gurl.
@@biggusbadonkus2018 Atlantis is so powerful. A ragtag bunch of Servants, with a leader most of us probably didn’t trust or like at that point. And yet together, he led us to defy the gods so we could reach Olympus. Jason and the New Argonauts are truly worthy of the title of Heroic Spirit.

Finally got to this scene in FGO NA. Tears were shed hearing this when I reached this part in Lostbelt 4. This was also one of my favorite tracks in the FSN VN so hearing it here just makes me cry even more.
Same, I’m a bit slow to jump into Lb5 but I throw this song on a lot. I think this particular version of Ever Present Feelings has more power to it than the VN’s version; it properly carries the weight of the scene it played in as well. STILL gives me chills when it pops up on my playlist.
'A Aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa' Holy fuck. I can't even imagine staying awake for a week, let alone 1000 fucking years. Poor Jinako.
That scene in lostbelt 4 has the potential to be masterfully adapted if treated the right way. Jinako deserves it. That whole scene and that part when Karna calls her by her real name instead of Ganesha's!!!
There was a time where i was reluctant too count fate go as one of my favorite games of all time. But ever since LB1 i changed my mind. Yes, even if it is just a gatcha mobile game, it has reached my soul countless times already and i am sure it will until it ultimately ends. I have finished atlantis a few days ago and i can’t count how many times i was about to break into tears… and then the scene with orion arrived… i might get emotional quickly, but i usually can hold of my tears. But on that day tears where shed when i witnessed that beautiful tale of a hunter declining the offer of becoming immortal, saving the person he loves and ultimately saving humanity by doing so. This is just one of the recent moment where the game reached me. But i think we all have made cherished moments while witnessing this beautiful game. The future might be frightening, but i am down for it. I proudly declare that fate go is one of my favorite games ever made.
" Hump, so that is the sky of pan-human history...... I'll be damned,if it isn't so beautiful it makes you want to puke______" I don't know why? I kinda feel bad for him even he is evil.😢
FGO protagonist is going through all the tragedy and not break down I know their trying to make it easy and say it’s to restore humanity but it feels like their just forcing them to accept the consequences they’ve had done and to accept it the fights, the deaths they caused, and the betrayals that happen it’s just too cruel not to mention during the lost belts they had a tragedy that completely scarred and broke the protagonist and had to grow up to fast for what’s about to happen to change his life if you think about the protagonist is going through a lot for someone his age and it’s sad.
Sonia Nevermind it’s just how it looks to me Fugimora Ritsuka is a protagonist in the fate series that is willing to accept his choices and his sins as well even if it means getting other people, heroic spirits, and gods as well to hate or kill him he’s willing to hold that burden himself even if it kills him.
@@rainierjudedandoy5455 i doubt the high ass 7 masters will. They have no idea what it took, what shit he had to swallow. All Ritsuka wanted was a normal life, Chaldea forced his hand, after realizing what was at stake (Singularity F) he simply just went: Fuck it, I can't have my normal life, and everyone else won't unless I do this. And finally One day we'll be able to punch Kotomine in the face he deserves it more than Solomon/Goetia, scratch that, I want him dead. Thoroughly.
So, the Singularities were the first stretch. Then the Arc of Remnant cleaning up and showing us a broader world. Then..... This extremely well written soul scarring storyline. I appreciate every single storyline in the game even Fuyuki simply because of how it affects the later story. Man, i hope this game never stops spitting out content.
Which Arc do people seem to enjoy the most? I love the lostbelts but i personally love the Singularities because of its ability to set the stage for the storyline. It may not be as heart tearing as the lostbelts but i simply cant forget.... Falling asleep at the Director meeting.... Being cornered, accepting the position as the Last Master of Humanity.... Bonding with Mash.... Learning of our true enemy..... Meeting crazy geniuses, legendary kings, fighting off demon god pillars, and of course... When out favorite kouhai.... You know. Then Doctor Roman doing his reverse uno thing with his NP.... All of it. I don't think any other mobile app game will ever be able to give me the same sense of joy and sadness this arc did.
Personally I think that after the lostbelts Type-Moon should finish fgo once and for all. Or at least start concentrating on other projects such as the tsukihime remake
@@justicar77 There's no confirmation about that. He said that, as long as players wants more stories on FGO, FGO will continue. He did say that his next project would be related to vampires (most likely Tsukihime remake/another Melty Blood game, since Tsukihime's 20th anniversary is next month and Melty Blood got trademarked recently. It could also be related to Story section about vampires on FGO or the sequel of Mahoyo, so let's not jump the gun and say that he is outright quiting FGO).
@@literallynothing6601 Yeah, Nasu will probobly only take the pause on FGO writing, if players want more after CitL (He and DW probably could find another sub Narrative Director for that time) to focus on Tsukihime ApoBGM and potential ApoBGM "Far Side" routes if they ever came to be (if ApoBGM will be a success).
"Now I am become Death, the destroyer of worlds." Given how the situation of the Lostbelts is, it would be only fitting that at some point Ritsuka said this.
Just a reminder. This song also being replayed when Melt- I mean Lambdarillys doing her show at summer casino event. I was supposed to be have fun but there I am shed my tears again...
When you listen to this song and play through the lost belts you just wonder what this dude goes through day after day mentally to get where he is now after experiencing so much loss and bearly gains each time he losses a servant but to him is a close hearted friend who fought side by side a true hero dying in front of him I wouldn't be surprised if he broke down and wanted a break cause this song and what he been through is heart breaking
Compare to the original one this one is more like you hitting the bottom and start crying a lot then stand back and keep going while the OG one is more like look into someone's past and start having heavy feelings and look into yourself.
When you stop to think about it. Could Ritsuka Fujimaru be considered a hero? If they sacrificed so much to save humanity, while at the same time having to bare the guilt of destroying worlds just to save their own? Is that what’s considered being a hero? Or does that simply make them a villain? In my opinion. The answer is neither. Baring such a heavy responsibility, carrying an immeasurable amount of sins, and yet being able to look ahead and continue forward. That’s not a hero, nor is it a villain. It is Ritsuka Fujimaru being the very thing they are, a human being.
It's another argument I hear about those who are martyrs. They are not heroes, they are victims. People who managed to be at the wrong place at the wrong time. They didn't die nor fight for a cause meant to cornerstone something greater. We shouldn't celebrate their sacrifices, we should mourn that someone had to shoulder that pain and suffering all alone because of circumstance and the way this world functions.
It's a thing Fate has answered since the original VN. Being a "hero" is complicated, heroic spirits are heroes from differents ages and the meaning of the word changed over the time, eras, and places. No hero has clean hands, most of them has to face guilt a day or another. UBW it's really all about that. The path of the hero is made of hard moments, treasons, wounds, suffering, and death. You have choices to make, and it's unpleasant. Da Vinci says during SIN that the whole thing about the Lostbelt is no one is wrong or right, everyone fight for his own world, things has just happened. Even Chaldea could face a day or another someone else who claims to be the "proper human history". Lostbelts are in the gray area because every one of them is finally a whole world on it's one, a true history with his peoples. But the seven of them and the proper human history can't live together. Ristuka is a hero, I mean, the incineration of humanity lack that kind of moral problems and he was here after all. For the Lostbelt, he is also a hero : the hero of his world, and the enemy of the others. Sometimes, even the enemy agree about it, like Qin Shi Huang.
Caligula calls Guda an anti-hero Both the Lion King and Moriarty describe them as someone who is inherently good but who commits/allows evil acts I personally don't think anyone but the heroic spirits and the staff at Chaldea would think of Guda as a hero, but the concept of a hero is very complex in the fate series so yeah it just depends on who is telling the story and how they're describing it, Guda can fit in the labels of villain, hero, and regular human being
@@minimoongi Mostly, being a hero is just a matter of perspective. Like for example, for Romans, you can say that those Romans emperors are heroes that bring glory for Rome. But for other nations, like in Boudica's or Zenobia's story for example, those Romans and their emperors are a bunch of vile invaders that took everything away from them.
@@justawanderingoldman7699 yeah exactly what I was saying!!! All heroes are considered heroes because that's who the people who are telling the story see them as. Guda being described as an antihero is probably the most neutral description of them bc it doesn't hide their "evil" deeds and it shows that they believed it was for the "good" of phh
I look forward so much to Charlottle release at the moment I see her in the opening and was happy that she was a low start so I can have her. Then lb5 hit me like a truck, the scene when she flat out confess to you after a few failed attemp during the entire lostbelt, and it was her last moment
Numerous saber flashbacks Shirou and Rin on the rock after the betrayal Bring Ilya back. Kotomine's backstory "Thank you, Saber. You've saved me so many times." Shirou's biggest shounen moment All of these come flooding back to me and more.
tears, tears, and even more tears were shed by these eyes. to the point that my vision became blurry and i had to pause let this song play while i wipe the seemingly unending tears.
To all the heroes that help us through all the stories i once again say thank you! many people say this game is about gacha but after playing it i think the real treasure is all the people that we met
So yeah...this moment absolutely fucking destroyed me. Especially since Jinako's monologue shot waaay too close to home for me. I can only imagine what LB5 is gonna put me through.
honestly with all the horrible things in the world, this song, even the original version from the visual novel, never fails to help me get through. I listen to it a lot for that reason, when praying and thinking about all of the things that are outta your control that you wanna help. definitely a timeless tune as far as anime soundtracks go
with all the things Ritsuka has gone through, i can still see a scenario where Mage Associations still going to find a way or a loophole to shut down Chaldea.
Lost belt 4 might be my most favorite lost belt that's released on NA, I like the world building and the servants, i like the story and the battle against the one true god, as it shows the hopelessness when everything in this world is working against you, It felt very depressing but at the same time very satisfying to play through it, im looking forward to more fgo lostbelt stories, this one is my favorite so far.
Mine is the Atlantis Lostblet, mostly because of how it develops the servants that we have there. The lostbelt managed to make Jason, one of the antagonists in Okeanos (where he's portrayed as Shinji in servant form), into a true hero, and Orion, who we once knew as the perverted stuffed toy in Artemis's saint graph, into the CHAD Grand Archer who's willing to do anything to save Artemis.
My fellow Masters. The time is now, in a few hours Olympus will be officially released in NA servers, the battles will be hard, we will lose many companions in our fight. But is because they once where there for us that we will be able to continue looking high at the future to be able to take back our world I wish the best of luck for anyone who happens to read this comment
Those we met and those we lost along the journey. Great heroes, friends and innocent smiles. For our future to live on they had to fade. And yet they still exist within our hearts and our memories. It's this sacrifice that we must endure to save those flawed humans. Hoping that their choices will lead to a better, no, to a more humane end. And now we march. March for tomorrow.
Hello, and welcome, Masters of Chaldea. This song represents the destruction of your very heart and soul through tragedy. This one belongs to the Masters of Fuyuki. They give you their blessing. You will have your own grief.
I truly cried at that time and because of that, i grailed her to level 100, I'll try to maximize her with fou too. THIS LOSTBELT IS JUST TOO MUCH, WAY TOO MUCH FOR ME :( i can't believe that this is only the first part of lb5. Real, real good story there :(
Daniel M. Jason finally gets to be a hero and only his dying teacher could be by his side to witness it. Why did they have to make it tragically greek accurate?
I see that people have divergent thoughts on the moment this reminded them of. I am no different. Wodime backstory with this when we learn who he is as a person and his final moment in LB5.2. I had to pour one out, tears and wine for the man. In the end he is just as normal of a human as everyone he knows. When they showed what he had done to bring back Team A and the only person remembering was him. It really hit home. Wish we would have at least one or two more crypters surviving (not beryl he could fck off)
In the face of the Lostbelts, even Servants are giving up completely. But not Ritsuka. Even though it's hard, and breaks their hearts with every sacrifice and erased Lostbelt, they won't, they can't, give up the fight. Because, to do so would make every sacrifice that's already been made utterly meaningless. Paxti, Gerda, Yu, Asha. Drake, Bart, Charlotte, Chiyome, Achilles, Hector, Mandricardo, Paris, Orion, and Jason. Those who were sacrifices, and those who sacrificed themselves in aid of Chaldea only pushes Ritsuka further onward. -Wodime can't understand that, and that's what's going to be his downfall.-
Nathaniel Burkett What makes you think Kirschtaria doesn’t understand that? It’s really weird how some FGO fans have made up this image of Kirschtaria as some Griffith-like, even though it contradicts all that has been shown about him.
@@shinji136 That was actually a reference to Wodime's Magus Mentality. He is the very model of a modern Nasuverse Magus, with all the various dysfunctions that implies. Of particular note is that while he recognizes his relationship with the other Crypters as a benefit to his mental health, he couldn't quite fathom _why_ he was so upset to learn that Ophelia died. He's somewhat numb emotionally, and expects the same from the rest of his allies. Which isn't how it tends to work out, at all. In a pretty eerie parallel with Ritsuka, Wodime holds absolute faith in his allies, teammates, and subordinates, expecting the best out of them no matter what. Unlike Ritsuka, he gets let down, a _lot_ , and never really gets down and dirty with his team like Ritsuka does, preferring to leave them up to their own devices 99.9% of the time. His worst blunder was with Douman, expecting him to be a net positive to Yuga and not giving him any form of oversight, and we _all_ know how that shitshow turned out.
To put it simply, the lostbelts are all Babylonia level writing. You are destroying 7 other worlds with many innocent people for the slim chance that your world might be restored(just a very small percentage). It is no longer a story of heroes or villains but one of survival. FYI-This BGM is a remix of a OST from the original fate vn
