As an over the road truck driver, I listen to Fibber McGee and Molly as well as Jack Benny while I drive. People look at me while I'm driving and they wonder why I'm smiling!😆

Used to listen to them in the 50s, growing up. Back when Patriotism was still taught in schools, and Love for America was high among our people, regardless race, creed, or religion.

The Dec. 9 show featured a line where Mayor LaTrivia (Gale Gordon) asked McGee to get him a world globe. McGee asked he wanted one with Japan on it (Mayor said yes) and Molly said something like they better get one quick (applause from the audience). At the end of the show, the audience and cast sang "My Country Tis of Thee"
