my grandpa was cajun if thats how you spell it and i think your dishes are awesome. takes me back to frying and cooking wit him all the time. thankyou for sharing brother. be blessed.
This really got me emotional. My dad loved to do this before he died…I’ll never forget the sound of those beagles. Now all that remains are the houses he kept them in…derelict and silent
Same bro. My papaw and i loved running our beagles. I joined the military and left home he and I never got to hunt again after that. I miss him so much so many good memories rabbit hunting and listening to the dogs
The more I watch SK's hunting to table vids, the more envious I get. Not just because of the quality of the meal, but it seems like a great time spent with friends out and about.
That's what it's about take the kids out to, teaches team how to provide for themselves and others from the land, and its a good way to bond and a great day out plus food to eat at the same time win win situation
That brings back memories of hunting rabbits with my great grandpap and his pack of beagles in PA. A vanishing tradition for sure. I still have a beagle for a pet, and when I see a bunny in the yard, you know I take her out for a sniff. Thanks to SK for keeping the rural traditions alive.
Grandpa took my brother and me hunting when we were 7 and 8. He never gave us a gun, or really instructions on what we would be doing. Beagles chased the scent and we chased the beagles and eventually he yelled at us. 😂
Thanks for this vid bro. I grew up hunting rabbits with a couple beagles and it was great to see this footage. Brings back great memories. Hunting rabbits with good beagles is a treat.
Years ago I worked along side a rig crew just north of DeQuincy Louisiana for about 6 weeks, and the tool pusher (aka foreman) used to cook lunches just like this every single day. Restaurant-quality meals cooked in and old school bus that had been converted to an RV.
Rabbit is by far my favorite meat. First had it when I was 6 and eat it multiple times a year now. It’s honestly the best meat I’ve had, especially smoked.
I cooked rabbit for the first time, wasn't a huge fan... Later my sister ate some of it and was like "man this some good chicken! But why are the bones small?" lollol!
I have a barn full of big rabbits, and I am still not tired of BBQ bunny . Sooo many ways to serve em up , BBQ bunny chimichangas 😋 I will be cooking this again too dude 🐰
Everything about this is beautiful just beautiful put that on a cracker dude. Just one thing I wish this rabbits was as big as I use to hunt it Ukraine and Belarus, my biggest one was weight 9.2 kg approximately 20 lbs, I believe we call them hare , here in US, they don't dig burrows like this little one do, look very tasty, thumb up
Havent been rabbit hunting in years. Last time i went was with my uncle and his pack of hounds. We got enough to invote the whole family over for a nice dinner on a cold autumn night
My best huntin dog, a beagle named Rascal, cuz he sure was one. If he wasn’t chasing rabbits, he be pushing and playing the soccer ⚽️ ball with my Son when they both just little boy and pup. Rascal learnt gettin rabbits from his daddy Buster. He was a good huntin beagle too. They all my Son and dogs could run all day. 👍🏻💪👌🏻🙏🏻😎😉🇺🇸
