Have u factor in the time consumed while on a biting traffic jam in our roads? In the grand scheme of things u myt realize it consumes same or even more than a regular fielder depending on the road traffic situation

It's a hybrid therefore it turns off the engine soon after stopping. No fuel will be used. The car will run on the hybrid battery electric power.

I have driven a Honda Insight in the past and it actually consumed 16% more fuel than a similar car with the same amount of horsepower. Half the time you are runing on the engine and it is veeeeery weak on its own but when the electric motor kicks in you can surely feel the power, similar to that of a turbo charger.

Insight’s hybrid system is more of a substitute to the petrol engine. The Fielder has the hybrid system in a Prius which has been a leader in its class. There’s also different layouts of hybrid systems so that might also affect the Insight’s performance. In Trinidad we all use 92. On a full tank I'm getting 760km on a full tank

I have owned a 2013 hybrid fielder and 33km/l is far fetched.....I know drive a normal 2014 fielder and I'd advise people not go buy the hybrid at all cost

Unfortunately I’m not given cars to drive around for a while (I’m working on that) and give more accurate numbers but what I know is the hybrid version definitely has better fuel economy. Also would you elaborate on what made you switch from the hybrid to the normal Fielder?
