You are missing some games: - Fifa 98: RTWC (it had a qualification mode and the biggest number of National Teams in any Fifa) - Viva Football (play through WC 1958 - 1998) - Fifa 06: RTWC (Exclusive Version on Xbox 360 with National Teams only) - "Current-Gen Version" of Germany 2006 (basically every other Version than the Xbox 360 Version) - GBA Version of Germany 2006 - PC Version of World Cup 98 (slightly different Scoreboard)

I played the hell out of Road to World Cup 98 on PC and the later World Cup games on consoles. I’m really disappointed that this year was just an add on for FIFA 18, there wasn’t anything quite like taking Vanuatu to the World Cup through the qualifiers and all.
2010 and 2014 were games made with love and respect for the fans of the world cup. 2018 DLC was just a trick to keep FUT 18 alive and grab more money out of kid's pockets (or rather anyone's pockets). It's a shame what FIFA has come to. Don't expect anything for 2022.
I wish fifa had commentry like for instance if you scored a winning goal in the last minute the commentator would go mental... like "aguerrooo" or some mad spanish or arabic commentator ahahah but its just the same old shit
Ghost Guy the problem is that European commentators as well as American ones don't usually scream a goal... they just narrate it...of course there're some exceptions like Tyler's "Agueroooo" in that case.. South Americans commentators are the best... but.. their scream just doesn't fit the game well, because they ask them to do some neutral narration and you can't be neutral about a screamer
My ranking of those I own and played: 2014 (probably the last standalone World Cup game forever, and what a game it is! Fan fest cuts, talk radio, scenarios, qualifiers...wow!!) 2010 (man, that atmosphere!) 1998 (RTWC and tournament, brilliant for its time, and I love the classic matches) 2006 (lack in grapics, FIFA 2003 looked better!) 2002 (why the arcade style gameplay??) 2018 (so much wasted potential, it's a shame EA is only about money-making fantasy football nowadays)
In my opinion they should play full lenght anthems while playing international matches in FIFA or FIFA World cup. That would certainly boost up the athmosphere

Random Guy37 Ummm, really; I doubt that Australia or even Brazil can muster up enough football prowess and technique to lift the coveted throphy come July 15/16; maybe these two mediocre national teams can at least win the Third Place match?! The USA men's football team came in third overall in the 1930 or 1934 FIFA World Cup; also, the Aussies and the Brazilians actually need to qualify for the round of 16, reach the round of 8, then round of 4 (semi's) and then advance to the finals...then, and only then can one of these international sides achieve World Cup greatness.
Omfg the FWC '98 on a Nintendo Gameboy dual chrome looked pointless...in my honest opinion; why not port it directly to the Gameboy color or even wait to release on a GBA !?
Missing an underrated classic. Viva Soccer on PS1. That game allowed you to play multiple world cups from 1950's to 1998. All teams including those that qualified. Now if only they made a world cup game with the same qualifications as the 2014 Brazil world cup and also added every world cup in history to the present day. That would be the best world cup game ever made.
Not all. No game have all Nation al teams. If you investigate, in every qualification for the wc. There's always a team or two that decide not to participate on the tournament. Generally is from Asia.

More features in the old ones more kits/ historic kits to unlock and there's almost every single country in the world on the others so you can do road to World Cup and go through qualifying stages I've heard that isn't on FIFA 18 it's just the countries that have qualified. All they done was update the nationals World Cup kits that's it. So it should be fucking free. Kind enough my ass

I just love how you can pick your own teams for the World Cup on 2010 custom and it actaully does the draws and you can select any kit you want and it doesn't have to be the World Cup one. Loved the stats on your record against a country and I liked the globe that you can scroll over.

The thumbnail is really inaccurate. In 1986, 3D graphics weren't even a thing yet. They were used in movies, but those graphics wouldn't be in a fifa game until the PS1.
EA Games la cagó con Rusia, tan emocionados estábamos por jugar desde la clasificación, y nos vienen con un parche, ¿Si saben que en el modo torneo de todas las FIFAS viene el mundial? Y lo hicieron ver como si fuese algo nuevo 7-7, una gran decepción. No sé si comparto la misma opinión, la FWC 2006 en videojuego fue la mejor, porque traía hasta rankings, exentos, etc, muy completa :).
El modo de juego del fifa 14 me encantaba, siento que se retrocedió en eso, ese modo de juego estaba muy cerca de lo real y quizá un poco aumentando, el de ahora resulta muy estresante, regates más lentos, jugadores rápidos que corren casi igual que los lentos, entre más cosas negativas
